I travel a great deal and I am pretty much jaded as what to expect when staying at so-called 'boutique' hotels but this one is quite the exception. The location, the atmosphere, and the rooms, is top notch. We stayed in #407, the Neon Room. Some people might find the room a bit on the small side (the pink/blue motif a bit off-putting to others I can only assume) but my partner and I were quite comfortable because overall, the room was efficient and cozy. The view from the balcony was spectacular! (Rossio Plaza) and the location unsurpassed. The rooms was quiet and the beds incredibly comfortable. Though you were above a major plaza and shopping venue, the room was very quiet. Everyone at the front desk was quite helpful. The buffet breakfast was pretty mundane considering the atmosphere (I opted for the all inclusive option). You can order simple things from the kitchen if you don't see anything on the buffet. It was very hot and humid on my visit (30+ degree Celsius) so the A/C was a blessing. I am having a hard time to find anything to quibble about but I was dig hard for my one complaint. The air conditioning required local wizardry for the controls was confusing and some nights (stayed 6 nights overall), it felt like an arctic blast. But overall, it was a very enjoyable stay.

We really liked this boutique hotel. We stayed for 5 nights in July. Firstly, the central location is excellent - you can get to all the main places of interest with ease. Buses, trams, subway and trains are right on your doorstep. There are lots of cafes and restaurants nearby - Casa Brasileira on Rua Augusta (just 1 min from the hotel) was a favourite for breakfast. There's no seating, so you stand and eat at their counter.

We stayed between the 2nd and 3rd floors in room 311, a Zen room, (you take the lift to the third and walk down a flight of stairs) and it had a good view of Praca Da Figuiera and part of Dom Pedro IV Square. Although it is near street level, noise wasn't a problem as the windows kept the noise out. The room is decorated simply, white walls, dark wooden furniture and carpetless floor. This is what we prefer. Other rooms in the hotel have different themes and are decorated accordingly e.g. Pop art. If you prefer a simple design, I'd choose Zen.

The room isn't very big, but adequate for two. The bathroom is spacious, though, and we liked the rainfall shower facility.

The staff were welcoming, especially the guys on the door. We tried the breakfast buffet twice (15 Euro p/p) and thought it was of good quality. Of course, breakfast is cheaper outside, but we found that the choice and quality of food served was worth it.

The hotel has many nice touches which make it rather special when compared to your regular hotel e.g. green toilet paper, a 'go away' sign to hang on your door when you don't want to be disturbed, etc.

We took an airport bus to get to the hotel (7 Euro for two), but on the way back took a taxi (10 Euro including two pieces of luggage in the boot), so you may as well take a taxi for comfort as there's not much difference in cost.

We recommend the hotel and would stay there again if visiting Lisbon.

Located in Rossio Square you cannot beat this location. Practically right out your door is the tram stop to The Alfalma and Belem. One block from the hotel is the train to Sintra (where u can take a day trip to the whimsical city for $5 USD each). The metro which takes u to all the other great Lisbon spots is also just right out the door. Commercio Square is right down the main pedestrian street, you guessed it, also right out the door.

The rooms are compact, but loaded with charm, big screen tvs and decent sized bathrooms. The reception desk folks were friendly and helpful. We skipped the $15€ breakfast S their are many patisseries where u can get fresh juice, large fruit plates, pastries and coffee for $4€ each.

Located right on Rossio Square and walking distance from the Rossio train station, this hotel is central to everything in Lisbon, including the Santa Justa elevator, funiculars, trams, etc. We had a Zen room and it was beautifully decorated although on the small side. It had a gigantic plasma TV with international channels and there were bath robes and slippers in the room. The bathtub was awesome with different jets coming from the shower panel, and their toiletries were high quality. Privacy in the bathroom, however, was an issue since there was only a sliding glass door that separated it from the room. Staff was very nice and welcomed us with a free drink. The free wi-fi worked great. Overall highly recommended.

This hotel is in one of the best, most centrally located locations of Lisboa. You can walk to pretty much any place of interest for a tourist. The hotel itself is extremely modern, with a cool design, and very clean. We stayed for 4 days and encountered many different people on staff. All were absolutely amazing. Extremely patient, knowledgeable, and so kind and helpful. We could not have asked for better service.

The rooms themselves were quite small, even compared to hotel rooms in other major cities like Hong Kong or New York. That said, they're quite comfortable, very clean, with interesting design details (e.g. orange toilet paper!). Contrary to other reviews, I did find the room to be very soundproof. I couldn't hear any street noise. My in-laws were staying the room next door (we shared a wall) and I was worried about how thin the walls might be. We did a test to see if we could hear one another watching TV or talking through the walls. Not a single sound. Perhaps other rooms/floors are different, but I found this place to be very quiet.

I would highly recommend this hotel, and plan to stay there next time I'm back in Lisboa.

Right in the center of Lisbon a perfect place to rest. Free wifi. Great friendly team. Rooms of several sizes, prices and atitude, but always at a fair price. Book earlier and get lower prices.
In the morning fantastic buffet breakfast with great view on the central place of Lisbon.
