A perfect location from which to explore Lisbon. Just 2 mins walk (160 metres) from Marquês de Pombal metro station, or a pleasant walk into the city centre along Avenida da Liberdade.

The staff couldn't have been more helpful on our arrival, throughout our stay and on our departure. I agree with previous reviews that the room was slightly dated, but the beds were comfortable, the room was clean and quiet. the breakfast room was slightly crowded at times but the staff did clear vacated tables promptly.

We emailed the hotel directly and got a better deal for B&B than was available either on their own website or on any hotel booking website!

Room Tip: Top floor rooms at the front of the hotel get a view over the trees (and possibly even a glimpse of...

A great place to stay in Lisbon. Across the street from the Metra and a 20 minute walk to very popular areas of the city for when you feel like taking a stroll. The staff were very friendly, and they helped us rebook our rooms for a better room at the same rate because there was availability without us even requesting it. The concierge had great recommendations for food, and when we requested a specific food type that wasn't familiar, the concierge went to the internet and found us a great spot. The room itself was a bit dated looking, but it was clean and comfortable. The plumbing and bathroom were perfectly fine. Breakfast was great too.

Easy hotel to find and near Metro. Very nice breakfast with hot and cold food options.

Room on the fourth floor was very warm overnight and in the mornings. The staff explained that the hotel either had the a/c on OR the heater and it hadn't been changed to the a/c yet despite the very warm sunny days. Moved us to another room without a problem.

Very helpful staff with public transport tips and food service staff quick with breakfast buffet refills.

Stayed here with a group of friends (7 in total) and thoroughly enjoyed the stay from the welcome to the goodbye glass of port. The reception staff were very helpful and knowledgeable about places to visit and restaurants to eat in. Special mention should be given to Ana Paula and Ana Martins who assisted in recommending excellent restaurants and booking a mini bus and driver to see the city's attractions which was on a par with the open top bus cost for the group.

The hotel is in a good location although it is a long steady walk uphill from the centre or a 3 stop metro ride. One tiny negative observation would be the cramped area in which the breakfast is laid out, but the variety of food available probably outweighs the problem.

Definitely would return if visiting Lisbon in the future.

This property definitely needs work on plumbing and HVAC. It took three tries to get a room with a working bathroom sink drain, and the bathroom was generally worn and moldy. The HVAC did not work well (if at all).

The friendliness and helpfulness of the front desk staff offset some of these deficiencies.

This hotel is great for a weekend trip to Lisbon when you know you are going to be out and about all day but you want somewhere clean and safe to sleep. easy to get to from airport - either airport bus or metro drops you literally to its door so very handy that way (expect big queues at airport metro for the ticket machine - and have change ready - its SAYS it takes 5/10/20/50e notes!!! Hotel staff extremely friendly and one of its key selling points. The breakfast very substantial and the room although basic enough did the job! Marques de Pombal metro is 30 seconds away. Buy the 24 hour travel ticket for 6e as it gets you on metro/tram and bus. Would recommend using metro - clean easy and very accessible. 5 star luxury it aint but it was exactly perfect for my short trip to Lisbon and would recommend it.

Room Tip: try and avoid any room that overlooks a small courtyard that has the kitchen cooler as it kickstart...

Frontdesk was excellent, Miss Ana Paula advised us the best way to travel around and what to eat. She even sketched an easy map for us. Breakfast was good, many choices of bread, cheese and fruits and hot drinks or fruit juice to choose. Our room was amazingly spacious. This hotel is at great location to famous spots. Two minutes walk to the metro, just across the Marques de Pombal and just walk down to Lisbon´s main tourist attractions. You need a taxi to go back though, after handfuls of shopping bags.
