Hotel Turim is located in a quiet street, and is well placed for Lisbon tourism. We were checked in by Raquel who was very helpful and friendly.
As requested, we had a room on the 7th floor with a terrace overlooking the front of the hotel. The bedroom was very spacious and provided twin beds, table, chairs and large wardrobes. A useful feature was a kettle and cups for hot drinks; tea bags were provided, but if you want coffee, you need to take your own sachets. There is a fridge with a minibar. The bathroom was well equipped and the toiletries were replaced daily. We had no problems with any outside noise from the road.
We enjoyed the breakfasts, which offered hot and cold choices of meats, cheeses, bacon, eggs and sausages together with the normal range of cereals, fruit juices and assorted breads and sweet pastries. The dining room is particularly grand and impressive with its mirrored walls.

There are 3 metro stations within 5 minutes walk of the hotel and travel costs are low in Lisbon (buy a day ticket for 6 euro). Near the hotel, there are several restaurants and cafes. There is a Pingo Doce supermarket a minute’s walk away and this has an excellent café which provides cooked meals. The “menu do dia” is popular with locals and you can get a filling main course plus wine from 3.50 euro between noon and 3 pm. For major shopping, a large department store “El Corte Ingles” is 5 minutes away, near to Sao Sebastiao metro station.
The hotel provided excellent value for money and we would certainly go back to Hotel Turim on our next visit to Lisbon.

We had a great value for money lunch and happy hour cocktails(for 2 hours per night). The rooms were spacious and well cleaned. The staff were helpful and polite. The only niggle if any was the coffee and fruit juices at breakfast.(in the land of oranges the weedy orange and pineapple juice let down an otherwise pleasant breakfast.

More and more, modern people like "all in one" products. Why not booking a hotel placed in the right center of the city (100m from Marquis do Pombal Square), in the proximity of a nice park, at a walking distance to many touristic attractions, nearby the hop-on/off buses, with modern glass&ceramic architecture, good services, professional&friendly personnel, good food, 2-3 in/outdoor bars, with view the main promenade street (Avenida Liberdade - like Rambla in Barcelona), cozy atmosphere, clean rooms (with music) etc etc.
This is the TURIM Hotel Avenida Liberdade. Price very convenient for all budgets. Reception desk can offer you tickets for various bus trips (at the station they are cheaper) to see the main touristic attractions and objectives in Portugal.
Beside the luxury fashion and jewelry shops you find on this street, during the day you can have a good lunch to a small bistro, and at night many places in the street offering good drinks and music (jazz, fado, rock, pop etc).
Also not far from the heart of the night life: fado concerts, live concerts in the streets near the outdoor terraces of the restaurants (good fresh sea-fruit dishes) - many people also dancing there till the night is not anymore young.
At the end of this avenue: the beloved STARBUCKS coffee & sandwiches restaurant.
As I cannot walk for long time and distance this location was the best. Please try and spend a romantic holiday in Lisbon accommodating in this hotel offering many advantages.

Room Tip: Front rooms have a view directly to Avenida Liberdade. Back rooms get the sunset - more daylight, wa...

have just returned from 3 night break and couldnt fault the hotel at all. Reception was very welcoming at all times - rooms were especially clean and tidy - cleaned every morning with fresh towels and toiletries provided too - rooms have tea/coffee facilities - TV - minibar - and ours had kitchenette ! Breakfast was very good - buffet style - great selection of pastries , cakes, bread, fruit, yoghurt, cold meats and cheese, hot bacon, scrambled eggs - all served in a lovely room with attentive staff and lovely clean white tablecloths . For the price paid this hotel was excellent and would gladly return. Metro stops are close by ( Parque - and we found Sao Sebastio to be the best ).

As it was the low season I got a really great deal on the room and it turned out to be superb value for money.

I won't duplicate what other reviewers have written suffice to say the rooms including the bathroom are large (35 metre square), comfortable with good housekeeping. There was also a kitchenette contained within the cupboards with a sink and two hobs although there was no cookware, crockery or cutlery. Breakfast was quite decent and perfectly acceptable but nothing more.

The biggest let down was the poor Wi-Fi reception which knocks off at least one rating from my review. A major factor in me choosing the Turim was the Wi-Fi. You had to stand next to the entrance door to get any kind of reception and even then it was quite intermittent with the signal frequently inexplicably dropping off every couple of minutes or so. I encountered at least one other guest also struggling with the Wi-Fi. Given that for many people, if not the majority, Wi-Fi is almost essential as hot water this was hugely inconvenient.

Staff were generally good and attentive although of the three male receptionists I encountered one was cold and unwelcoming; quite a contrast to the others.

If I had to nit-pick I would have liked to have some basic stationery in the room to jot down a few notes for my sightseeing trips and a welcome pack would have been useful, for example I didn't know what the number for reception was.

If you can live with the poor Wi-Fi I am sure you won't be disappointed with the hotel. Oh and by the way happy hour between 6 and 8pm with all drinks (except wine) half price was an unexpected bonus!

This hotel has a very central location (subway 2 minutes walking) nearby several highlights of Lisbon (Campo Pequeno, Gulbenkian Museum and gardens, etc…). Rooms are confortable (minibar is available) and spacious (good for a family of three). Breakfast and Staff are a must. Parking outside the hotel can be rough. It is possible to park in the hotel parking although the day fee may be a little bit expensive. There are also four big shopping centre nearby and walking distance (Campo Pequeno, Atrium, Saldanha and Monumental) with a lot of places to eat and shop. A good supermarket is also available in the other side of the street. It is and excellent place to explore and enjoy the white city.

We stayed here for three nights on a flight/hotel package, which was very good value. The hotel is in a quiet location adjacent to the financial district and within walking distance of the centre. It is near three (not 2) metro stations on different lines, serving the airport, town centre and the main football stadiums. It is clean, with friendly and efficient service. The room was a good size, with a comfortable bed. The plumbing etc worked properly. Buffet breakfast was OK - the usual, not particularly inspiring, selection, though fresh orange juice and non-scrambled eggs are available at extra cost. The hotel is fairly small, and in some ways more like a very good 3 star than a 4. No particularly outstanding features, but nothing to be negative about either. Would happily stay there again, though not at the rack rate of €250-300(!).
