“lucky find”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 8, 2012

We were lucky to find this little gem, as only a heavy rain shower when we were passing led to us going in. Staff were helpful and the food excellent. Interesting sweet and savoury crepes plus other choices, extensive reasonably priced drinks menu. Just shared a carafe of delicious house white on our second night, but returned to eat on the last night of our 3 in Lisbon..

“Our choice in Lisbon!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 10, 2011

We found this place by chance, while going to the “Carmo” museum. The colourful dashboard proposing the daily suggestions was immediately inspiring, and the large majority of native customers finally convinced us to enter. Their specialities are crepes but they also propose several alternatives and as it was lunchtime we decided to try two “sopas” (soups, 2 Eur each) and two “saladinhas” (little salads, 5 Eur each), one with “polvo” (octopus) and one with “bacalhau”. Everything was very tasty and made with fresh ingredients. During our stay in Lisbon we came back here two more times, trying a “Tabua de queijos” (assorted cheeses), “Bacalhau a la inFusao” (with potatoes, olives and vegetables), a sweet crepe with chocolate and two salt crepes (the “Mondrian” with Roquefort cheese, nuts, honey and pears, and the “Douanier Rousseau” with chicken and mixed veggies). The food was always delicious as well as the home-made beverages (we tried the lemonade with mint and some mojitos) and the prices absolutely affordable. The staff was always very welcoming and friendly, helping us with the language and particularly to understand the ingredients of each dish. All in all the place was well worth of more than one visit and I’ll definitely recommend it.
