“Good choice for a vey good value”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 8, 2014

I was flying back and decided to stay overnight in Lisbon for my next flight on the following day. I got a very good price for one night, the hotel has been renovated, room was very clean and comfortable and breakfast was very good as well. The location is good if you are taking the bus from airport to city center. The hotel is located a few blocks from the bus stop. If price is reasonable, I will definitely come back.

Stayed for 3 days in May 2014 and would warmly recommend. Close to city centre. Opposite metro stop. Clean rooms. Great breakfast. Friendly staff. It's a pity the WiFi costs extra. Lisbon is a great city too.

Only one bad point about the hotel is you have to pay for internet. Everything else about the hotel is great. Choice at breakfast, rooms, staff etc are all brilliant.
Very easy to get to from Lisbon airport using the metro. Just buy a top-up card from one of the machines and the hotel is at the very end of the red line at Sao Sebastioa. Leave the metro station using the new exit at Av. Duque D'avila and the hotel is right in front of you.
The metro is very easy to use and you can get into the centre using the Blue Line to Baixa- Chiado.
We can recommend visiting Sintra. It takes 35 mins on the train from the main station at Rossio. You can use the same top-up card that you use on the metro. A train goes about every half hour between Rossio and Sintra and as it is the terminus at both ends you can't really go wrong.
If you want to walk into the centre of Lisbon rather than take the metro it is about a 30 min walk.

Nice little hotel just outside the city centre but only 10 mins walking distance to the heart of the city, stayed here for the champions league final and found the hotel to be clean and modern with a nice bathroom and good shower, did not take breakfast so cant comment on the food or service, but found the staff that I dealt with courteous and professional. Not to much in the way of bars or good restaurants in the Immediate area but can be found with a short walk.Although we paid well over the odds for our room (supply and demand champions league final) would stay here again if the price was right.

Room Tip: This hotel is in a fairly quiet area,so no problems with outside noise.

The hotel is a little bit out of the main centre - approx 30 min walk. If walking is not your thing then there is a metro station adjacent to the hotel when you can be in the centre within 10 minutes (blue line). However, for those able, the walk is really pleasant especially if you take the route through Parque Eduardo VII and down Avenida da Liberdade to the actual centre. The return journey is all up hill - be warned!

The airport metro (red line) terminates at the metro station adjacent to the hotel - really handy and cheap transfer from/to airport.

Location wise, the hotel is in a fairly quiet area close to El Corte Ingles (head to your left when you come out the hotel door), which is really handy for shopping. It's also close to Atrium Saldanha (head to your right when you come out the hotel door- when you reach Avenida da República, look to you right) for more shopping!

The hotel is bright and clean. Rooms are modern and well laid out. Rooms are a typical size for a standard European capital city hotel. Hotel staff are friendly and professional - nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was good with a fairly wide selection of food. Other than breakfast and room service, there was no other restaurant facility in the hotel. There is a bar.

We would definitely stay at the hotel again - thoroughly enjoyed our time there. Only downside is having to pay for Wi-fi - and you can only log in one device at a time per code. If you want to use two devices at the same time, you will need two codes. This is the only reason for 4 rather than 5 stars.

One final tip - the Red Lisbon Tour Bus stops outside El Corte Ingles (just next to the cinema entrance). Look for the Red sign on the bus stop - first bus is approx 0945 and every 15 to 30 min afterwards depending on day / time of year.

Room Tip: Rooms are well soundproofed - rooms to rear look onto a nondescript courtyard. Try and get a front...

The hotel offers spacious and silent rooms, with comfortable and clean bathroom, satisfying the standards you wait from a four stars accomodation. The staff is friendly, both at the reception and at the bar. What we found really strategic is the location: even if the hotel is not central the metro station is exactly in front of the door and opposite there are bars offering good breakfasts at a very nice price. The sorroindings are very quiet at night and at walkable distance there's the corte ingles department, where you can eventually eat or find everything you might need.

If it was for the WiFi that you have to pay €10 per day ,I would rate my experience with 5 stars. My room was good size , spotless and with a nice bathroom . Although I had requested a high floor with view, they allocated me on a low floor facing backyard with AC units, it did not matter to me at the end. Breakfast was satisfactory and staff were polite and helpful. Good location as you can get there from the airport in about 20 minutes by metro.
