Make sure you make a reservation in advance for this restaurant as even on a Monday night, the place was almost full.
I loved the ambience of the restaurant and it is located off the tourist path, which made it even more attractive for me.
We ordered a variety of different tapas, all of which were delicious and of suitable portion size. The waitress who is the co-owner, I believe, speaks excellent English, French and Portuguese and spoke us through the menu and also recommended a good wine.
The prices in the restaurant are really cheap; in fact, we had 4 tapas, 1 starter, 1 bottle of wine, an extra bread portion, 2 desserts and 2 caipirinhas to a total of 58 euros- great value!
It's a shame we ate here on our last night as I would have loved to have returned and tried some other dishes.
I seriously recommend this place on every level- the waitress also called a taxi for us too and it cost us just under 6 euros to get back to our hotel.
They are closed on Sundays.
