The pool is the only thing making this 4star. There is limited seating, poor food offering and poor security. Our sitcom didn't work and the receptionist told us to open the window.well it's a noisy road and already hot. They finally found us a room with working sitcom but was standard not superior and their offer of recompense - which r had to request- was less than the difference in value of the room price! There was a young trainee in reception overnight which I thought poor and the hotel was woefully understaffed compared with the much better Novotel further along the street. There at least you were well treated and the rooms were cheaper. I do not recommend this Mercur e at all

3 nights in this comfortable hotel was just the ticket.

Room spacious and clean. Beds are huge and so comfortable. Good nights sleep all round.

Location wise, it is slightly out of the town, with a limited choice of restaurants for dinner. However, it is just a five minute walk from the Metro. Easy access to the centre.

Roof top pool is nice when the roof is open. First day this was only open a fraction, meaning only two beds were able to sit in the sun. For the rest it was like sitting in a sauna. Pool is also a little too cold for my liking..... but that’s just me.

Stayed in hotel for 1 night passing through. Very clean, and well presented.
Rooms and well designed, TV's have around 8 local channels.
The bathroom is very clean, shower very easy to use, and comes with standard shampoo and body soap along with body lotion.
Mini bar and a safe plus complementary water.
We used Ubers to get around as too lazy for public transport and to get to the main square was only 5 euros so why bother
Would definitely use again.

Nice staying as usual , with the Mercure hotel in Lisbon .
Strategic position for the logistic( Metro and train in front of Mercure, and park behind for fitness outdoor ,with a beautiful sight to the historical aqueduct 'Agua livre '.

This hotel located in the safe neighborhood, was very convenient to go downtown.
Especially, breakfast was wonderful! On the otherhand, there was some problem. For example, even though I made a request for a quiet room when I checked in, I was stationed in the noizy room ajacent to the elevator, where there was a smell problem. These problems were solved after changing rooms.
