“Great stay A++++”
Reviewed May 17, 2014 via mobile

Stayed at this lovely hotel earlier this month, had a great experience from the moment we stepped through the doors.
Check in was a breeze. Friendly staff. Large rooms, bed was very comfortable. Lovely views of the park.
As this was part of our honeymoon, the manager sent up complimentary champagne, strawberries and chocolates. No other hotels have acknowledged our honeymoon.

Location is great, although you do have to walk up a steep hill from the metro station.
I would recommend this hotel to family and friends.

Added to a great Lisbon stay, two thumbs up.

We were on a Vantage tour and were suppose to stay at the Ritz, next door. Wish we could have! Our room was very small, bathroom tiny-impossible for 2 people to be there at same time. All three mornings, we had to wait in a long line to get a table for breakfast. Too many groups stay here. If you are a couple or single, try to stay at another hotel.

This hotel is located well for all vantage points of this lovely city. Views of the harbor add to the ambiance. Rooms are spacious, beds very comfortable and bathroom spacious. Breakfast well worth the money.

Room Tip: Ask for a river view

I stay at Tiara Hotel every time I nead to go to Lisbon and I may garantee it is really a 5 star hotel. Luxury rooms with fantastic beds and bathroom. Excellent view over the city.
Breakfast is the best I have ever tasted. Fresh juices and fruit. Big variety of bread and cakes. Everything you can desire for a good breakfast.

Beautiful hotel sitting on one of the many hills of Lisbon. Room was large and very well furnished with a great bathroom. View was good looking out to the river. Morning breakfast was part of the package so not sure of the cost but it was sumptuous .
We came to the hotel in a shuttle from the airport so did not have the walk up the hill. Did walk up and down the hills a few times and yes it took some energy but seemed that wherever you stayed that might be the case. Lisbon is a lovely city and I would recommend this hotel to others.

Room Tip: Ask for a view.

The Tiara Park Hotel was a pleasant stay. We had to wait for our rooms to be ready as this is a hotel that deals with people coming and going on cruise ships. The rooms were very comfortable and priced well. The restaurant was good in the morning and the bar lounge at night was good.

First of all there is no way to get here without sweating since this city has very steep streets but this hotel has such a BAD location that if you wanna get here without problems you need to pay a taxi and NOTHING IS CLOSE, far from city center and metro stations (the closest onr has you going up a steep hill)

2: breakfast is not included (eventhough its the most expensive hotel we have been too in the country. If you want the continental breakfast add 10 euros per person per day. If you want the buffet breakfast ADD 23 EUROS, no this is not a mistake ill write in words TWENTY THREE EUROS PER PERSON PER DAY. Why?!?!? What for?!?! I thing they are serving FILLETS OF A UNICORN!

3: i dont know what makes this place 5 stars. Location is the WORST,customer service is appauling this is the first hotel in Portugal (we have been to 3 stars to 5 stars hotels) that couldnt find our reservation (good thing we had printed everything at home), everything costs money..pool,gym,minibar..room is DARK unless you open the curtains but then no privacy.

4: shower water pressure...i was better off in my hikings in Nepal(3rd world country and one of the poorest in the world) the Around Annapurna hike at a height of 3,200 meters taking a shower with a bucket.we told them about it twice and nothing has been done, the third time finally somebody came and said that this is the pressure in this hotel.

5: you ask what are the prices in the mini bar?! An example...coca cola 7.5 euros! If you want to be sure you get fast descent internet you have to pay some more.

6: tv is small and inside a cupboard.

7: no power outlet near the bed to charge your phones.

8: for some reason we get the worst sleep here compared to all other hotels in the country...maybe it has to do with the bed/pillows
