This was my first time to Lisbon so I can´t compare this to other restaurants in Lisbon. It is conveniently located to the metro and various high end shops, and is within walking distance of many sites. The hotel itself is nice. It´s very clean, well staffed at the reception desk, and the room was very nice. Others complained about street noise. I was on the first floor and didn´t hear any. The breakfast was ok, but nothing spectacular. There were scrambled eggs that were cold, and the bacon didn´t look like it had been cooked. They had a good variety of breads, cheeses, and pastries. The coffee is no worse than anywhere else in Lisbon I found. I don´t think it´s a coffee city! The only negative I would say is the restaurant/bar. I was bone tired on Saturday night and wanted to just get a light bite in the restaurant. The selection was poor and overpriced. I ordered chicken samosas. For 6.5 euros you got 3 microscopic somasas that looked like they came out of a frozen package. I met up with some fellow travelers at the bar and we asked if they could just make us up a plate of bread and cheese to have with our wine. Since they serve breakfast there, it seems like they should have been able to accomodate but the answer was a solid NO. I was alone so I didn´t care that the "king" sized bed was actually two separate single beds but if I had been here with my partner, this would have been unacceptable.
