I stayed at this hotel twice last Oct. It's a typical Marriott: good service, clean and spacious room, comfortable bed, full breakfast w/ plenty choices.
The most tricky and even itchy thing about this hotel is the location.
It's not close to any places of interests, nor to any metro stations in that area, although there is a bus stop in front of the hotel, where you could connect to subway in many bus routes.
The hotel is not far from the airport. It's expensive at all if you take a taxi to catch an early or late flight.
It looks like many senior tour groups tend to choose this hotel.

Our ventallation system was wry noise, constantly sounded like there was water dripping. There WAS water dripping from the ceiling in the lobby. On our key card stopped working multiple times. On a positive note, the staff was very professional, friendly, and accommodating. The executive lounge was nice, although with considerably less options and shorter service times, compared to others I've been to. If not for the Marriott reward program I'd probably seek a hotel elsewhere.

Rooms were very clean and the staff very accommodating. Our room was originally 1032, but due to a painful knee, we asked to be near the elevator. Room was changed to 821, but the keycard was not changed. Had to go back down to Reception to get keycard changed. Got into 821 and found 1 bed instead of 2. Called down to reception and they sent someone up immediately with new keys to room 832. Views were of the city, but what do you expect when you are downtown. Only a 10 minute drive to the airport. Nice little gift shop, prices were not that bad for last minute gifts (we stayed here on our last night in Portugal). Best beds out of all the beds we slept in - super comfortable and cozy.

I have stayed here twice while traveling for work. It is located a short taxi ride distance from the airport and the city center. The rooms are great size and I had a nice view both the times. Internet is not free so that's a disadvantage if paying on your own. The breakfast selection is great and highly recommended. The staff are very helpful and friendly.

I have just spent 3 days staying at this hotel for work. As other reviewers have said it is neither at the airport or in central Lisbon. That said taxis are plentiful and it costs less than 10 euros to go either direction and no more than 15 minutes.

The hotel is big and spacious and very clean with staff available all the time. My room was well decorated with all the normal stuff, TV, iron/board, a large clean bathroom, comfy big bed with lots of pillows. Breakfast was a mix of healthy cerial, fruits, yoghurts etc to bacon and egg, a chef was on hand if you wanted an ommlette etc. I did not eat in the hotel at night but if breakfast was anything to go by I dont think there would have been a problem.

There was a outside pool (although still a bit cold to be open this time of year) and the grounds looked pleasant for a summers day.

The staff were all very friendly and efficient so no complaints therre.

Overall a very good stay at the hotel Marriot in Lisbon, thank you.
