We (my wife, 3y old son and myself) stayed in this hotel on the 26th of April and we can only speak highly of it. The room was big enough for us 3 including a +1 bed. The bathroom was enormous when comparing to others hotels in the same city. The staff is very friendly and helpful.
We also tried the restaurant when it was a delight. Nothing better then after a big day walking in the Lisbon streets to taste a great meal in the hotel.
We all love it and will return to it whenever we go to Lisbon next time.

The stay there was brilliant. Value for money, comfort, location, plus breakfast as well.Taxi was very cheap to go to places. About 20 min walk to the city center. The bar at the hotel was good. Staff were very helpful, spoke English, and gave useful knowledge of the local area. Particular Andre Serra ad Bruno Clara.
I would definitely go back to the same hotel.

I had the pleasure of staying two nights at the Neya Hotel in Lisbon in mid-March 2013 and I'm very pleased with my stay. I was able to book a rate on a major on-line travel site that was practically a steal. The hotel appears to be brand new, with not much wear and tear visible and a nice modern look the appears to attract mostly business people. The hotel bills itself as being "green," with attention to minimizing the environmental impact, but that does not mean it is short on the creature comforts.

Check-in was quick and easy, with a very nice young man a the reception area handling the paperwork. I stayed in a standard double room (with two twin beds pushed together) which was not big nor small, but just about right for one person. The modern decor is done in dark wood and light walls, so there is definitely a very business-like feel to the accommodations. There was an LCD TV with many channels, safe and mini-fridge in the room. The beds were two twins that felt firm but not hard. There was a closet with shelves and drawers to put away your clothes. Although the room was not small, two people in the room might feel a little pushed together, so keep that in mind when booking. The bathroom was very nice, with a shower/tub combination, and also had a bidet, for those who want to know. The bathroom, although not spacious, was not small either. The fixtures were modern and the water temp and pressure were great.

Breakfast was included in the rate I paid and was served buffet-style with a varied selection of breads, pastries, hot and cold items, fruits, cereals, yogurt, juices and, of course, coffee and tea. I was very pleased with the selection and quality of the food, and the breakfast room, which is just off the lobby, was very bright and welcoming. The staff at breakfast also did a very nice job of keeping the place tidy and replenishing the food items.

All in all I'm very happy with my stay at the Neya. I do have to mention that the hotel is not in the center of the tourist areas of Lisbon. However transit connections are nearby. If you are not limited in walking, the Anjos metro station is about 10 to 15 minutes away on foot. There you can catch the metro on the green line that will take you to the Rossio metro stop within a few minutes, which is pretty much the center of tourist activities in the city. Also Just one block away is a bus stop where you can catch a bus that, among other places, takes you to Sta. Apollonia train station. That said, I would definitely consider staying at the Neya Hotel on a future visit to Lisbon.

Be advised that Lisbon is a hilly city. Walking from one place to another may entail going up or down an inclined street. When the smooth cobble-stone sidewalks are wet from rain, it can get very slippery, so pack appropriate shoes!
