“Excellent location”

The hotel is very clean. Services are good. Friendly and helpful staff. Fine breakfast with lots of varieties. Metro station is just under ground opposite the hotel and very convenient for travellers who take public transport. On the other side of the hotel a beautiful park and very beautiful view. The area is very rich looking and quite safe like. About 50 meters away from the hotel there are sightseeing bus stops. Value for the money. Will not hesitate to recommend to any body who likes to visit Lisbon.

Room Tip: The top floors should have a wonderful view

Good and clean hotel in the business district of Lisbon. As a result of location not too much to do nearby, very little restaurants open on Saturday and Sunday when we were visiting. Travel to the historic part of Lisbon for sightseeing. Hotel located right next to subway station. Good breakfast. Decent size rooms, free wify. Overall, impression was positive.

Another excellent stay at the Fenix Lisboa. Situated in a great, easy to reach location (right next door to the Metro, which is simple to use), the facilities are excellent and the staff are always friendly and helpful.

Would recommend to anyone wanting to stay in Lisbon - great value for money. Breakfast buffet worth the money.

Having been in a less inspiring hotel in Rome the preceeding week i was pleasantly suprised to land in my room on the 7th floor overlooking the statue (and roundabout). The reception staff weren't the most helpful and their grasp of english was pretty poor (not that i expect it), but the hotel seemed to do everything you need for a business trip - except a late bar - it closes at midnight?? If you need a bottle of water, you need to venture out!!!

I would say the location is pretty handy for most restaurants, although it is at the top of the hill and walking back up a long slow incline may not be the best if you're less fit.

On a possitive the taxi's are cheap!

Stayed at the hotel for 2 nights on a Trafalgar tour. I was in a single room which was the size of a shoe box. There was hardly enough room to put my suitcase anywhere! I have stayed in single rooms in Europe before that have never been that small! On the plus side the room and bathroom were spotless and modern. The bed was hard and rather uncomfortable so I did not sleep well.

The location of the hotel is not ideal and about a 25 minute walk to the tourist areas. It is however located near a metro train station which takes you into the centre. I was advised not to use the public trains at night as it is not safe.I would suggest buying a day card for 6 Euros which gives you unlimited travel on public transport for the day, including the trams. A taxi to the main square costs about 5 Euros.

There is Fast free wi-fi and good breakfast selection though they seemed to struggle with large groups. Check in staff not overly friendly or helpful when I asked them for help.

Overall this is a pretty average hotel with an out of the way location. I would not stay here again given the option.

Very clean and comfy beds. Breakfast is good with a lot of choice. No tea/coffee making facilities in the bedroom. Did not eat in the restaurant in the evening. The reception staff were a little grumpy especially when I brought down the ironing i wanted done (there was no iron available to do it myself). I had been told the night before that someone would come and collect my blouses but they didn't so I had to take them to reception in the morning. Cabs were easy to hail outside the hotel. All in all a nice hotel for business.

We spent 4 nights in this very clean and well appointed hotel. The room we had was adequate for our needs but I think you would need something a little larger if you stay for some time. For us it was great because we were exploring Lisbon not the hotel room. Good breakfast. Fantastic friendly staff and a reasonable price. What more does one want. Across the road is the Metro and a fantastic tree lined road which takes you down to the Resturant area of the town. Lisbon is a great city with lots to do This hotel is the ideal place to stay and we will return. Just checked out flights this morning.

Room Tip: If you staying more than a few nights you might want to book a larger room. If your dirty stop out...
