This is a quiet and unpretentious hotel, which is better than a lot of 3 stars I have stayed at.

The rooms are very comfortable and it is about 10 minutes by the Metro form the Airport. In the vicinity we fould three good restaurants - ranging for the very simple bar/restaurant next door to two which were really good.

It is about 5 minutes walk from the Gulbenkian museum and also from the shopping centre...so it is a fair distance from the Rossio etc...but right on the Metro, so no problem.

We really enjoyed our stay and have booked there again on a stopover in Lisbon next autumn. Have stayed in 4 different hotels (all 4 stars except this) in Lisbon, and this is the best value of any of them.

Very friendly staff. The pool, (remarkably for a roof top) doesn't have much of a view, but is nice for a dip and catchign a bit of sun.

Nothing exciting about this hotel, but nothing to complain about either. The location near the metrostation S. Sebastiao is a big plus. The red line brings you from the airport to the hotel in about 20 minutes. With the blue line you're in the old town in about 10 minutes. The rooftop swimmingpool is nice too.
We had a room on the 4th floor (405) at the front of the hotel but very quiet. The room was clean, big enough, and was equiped with different amenities like a safety box, mini-bar and hairdryer. The airco worked just fine though it was centrally controlled so you can only turn it on/off.
We liked the breakfast. It's a buffet with different kinds of bread, yoghurt, cereal, cheese, scrumbled eggs and fresh fruits.
In the vicinity of the hotel you find the gulbekian museum (with a nice garden), el corte ingles and a nice litte park with a nice cafe (Linha d'agua in the Amalia rodriques park). Walking down hill from the park to the city centre is nice too.

Stayed here for 2 nights in june. Was very clean and all the staff were freindly. Big shout out to Manuel for having to put up with Hugo Firebush and his ghetto blaster throughout the hotel. Next to the metro so everywhere is accesible (if you get off at the right stop).

Made use of the pool on the roof even though it was raining.

All in all very good deserves more than 3*.

My first time visiting Lisbon and Portugal. I stayed here for six days. I was very impressed with the hotel as mentioned by previous reviewers the hotel is directly linked to the airport by the Metro Red line. The stop for this hotel is São Sebastião and the exit is Avenida Duque d'Avila. The Roof top swimming pool is fantastic on hot days! The Hotel is in a great location "El Cortes Ingles" for shopping/supermarket, restaurants and cafes for eating out and Gulbenkian Museum/Gardens are all within walking distance. The breakfast was buffet and very good.

A friend and I stayed here for 5 days recently. We enjoyed our stay and found most of the staff particularly helpful and friendly. The rooms were good (beds very hard though) and breakfast fine. You can imagine our shock when we received an email from the "Manager" the day after we left stating they had debited my credit card 50euros for all the towels we had stolen when we left!!! This was eventually cleared up and I did get an apology from the General Manager but it still put a great stress on us. Beware to check the linens and report any not replaced by the cleaning staff!!!

The breakfast was good but there was no real dinner service.
