Good hotel but not in central Lisbon. Metro station right outside to get into the centre though.
Room was very clean and adequate, though small, with aircon and internet access (paid extra for this). No sign of the advertised 'sitting area' in our room - did we miss it?!
Breakfast was good - plenty of choice and staff constantly clearing away tables and re-stocking the buffet. Things get a bit frantic mid-service though with just too many people in a smallish room. We found it more relaxing to go for an early breakfast!
Pool was fine but it was a little chilly for swimming, thanks to the constant Lisbon winds. Nice area to relax after a day's sightseeing.
Lovely city to visit with plenty to see. I'd probably choose a more central hotel next time though.

Sana Reno is directly in front of a discrete tube station entrance in a quiet district of Lisbon. A block away is the green lung grounds of the Calouste Gulbenkian Museum. Underground trains take you directly to the Oriente main line rail station and also to Lisbon's main suburban shopping centre, Colombo as well as the busy downtown and waterfront. The airport bus will bring you safely to the Saldanha tube stop - 5 minutes walk away. This is very important because Lisbon Airport taxi-drivers are notoriously bent and exploit passengers mercilessly - AVOID TAXIS there. I've lived in Rio and know this kind of beast intimately !
Sana Reno is priced pretty cheaply with comfortable fittings are spartan arty - spacious, clean and modern. Breakfast was well-organised, varied, speedily attended by staff interested and proud to do their jobs. Reception staff also attentive and efficient. Reno boasts a medium-sized pool on the roof.
Minor quibbles at Reno - frigobar massively marked up - even more than in other more exploitative hotels - so take snacks with you (a cereal bar was marked up at least 1000% to Eu 2.50 !!!!). Towels cud benefit from a wee drop of fabric softening. All in all - Reno is an excellent base for one of Europe's top cities.

The Sana Reno Hotel was a nice surprise. When we booked it the website photos showed rather plain rooms, but the rooms had been stylishly decorated with dark wood floors and velvet throws. Very clean and quiet with a comfortable bed.

The staff were friendly & we enjoyed relaxing by the roof top pool (it was a bit chilly to swim, but can't blame the hotel for that!). Even though the location of the hotel is a little out of the centre, there is a Metro stop right outside the hotel entrance, and the trains run till 1am - 90c a trip. It is also only 5 minutes walk from the top of Parque Eduardo VII, which is a lovely way to walk to the city center.

A tip if you arrive later in the evening is there is a good restaruant just a couple of streets away, Restaurante Colina in Rua Filipe Folque.

If I could find one fault it would be that the breakfasts weren't very exciting, standard buffet fayre, but there was plenty there.

A very central, comfortable hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Although difficult to find without sat nav, the hotel has a small underground car park which was invaluable. The accommodation was clean with a large bedroom and excellent bathroom. It was quiet ,although the bedroom room was rather hot and the air con was not very effective. The twin beds were extremely comfortable.
The breakfast was excellent and the snack lunch in the bar was very good value.
Right opposite the hotel was the metro which gave excellent direct accessibility to the historical centre of the city.

Friendly welcoming and helpful staff.

Underground parking a real bonus (albeit a tight squeeze).

Well appointed rooms - only spoilt by air con not working.

A hearty breakfast to set you on your way, and good for a lunchtime snack too.

Well positioned for the Metro which is right outside.

A typical city hotel with clean, well-equipped good sized rooms. The breakfast room is airy and pleasant with a good choice of hot and cold food. All the staff we encountered were helpful, efficient and friendly. The swimming pool on the roof is quite small with only a few sun loungers and chairs but very pleasant to relax in the evening sun. The hotel is too far to walk from the city centre but there is a metro station just outside and taxis are very reasonable.

Stayed here with friends for a girly weekend the reception staff were very helpful regarding directions for sight seeing etc. Taxi from airport was 10 euros although other group of friends were charged 13 euros! Metro opposite and brilliant for getting around Lisbon. Rooftop pool is so fantastic in the hot sun after a day sightseeing. Rooms clean, comfortable and had everything we needed, the showers tended to leak onto the floor all the time so most of our towels were used up to mop up the water to prevent a fall. Choice of food at breakfast is great and fresh, everything you could want. Great value hotel and would definetly return.
