Hotel not located in the centre, rooms need an urgent refurbishment compared with the reception lobby and breakfast room. Not well isolated, need to be more comfortable. Breakfast is quite complete in general.

I was booked into this hotel on a Groupon independent trip to Lisbon for 5 days. The hotel was immaculately clean and the staff was helpful. Breakfast was good and plentiful. The area is safe ( female solo traveler) and I was able to access the Metro easily. Cortes de Ingles supermarket is an easy walk and you can find everything you need there.Cab rates are very reasonable.

We appreciate your kind words about our breakfast, once it is indeed one of our strong points and a result of continuous improvements made in the past 2 years, in order to obtain full satisfaction of our clients.
As far as for the location, we would like to say that we are pleased to provide an almost unique location, once we are in one of the most prestigious areas of Lisbon, at the center and only 5 minutes away of the downtown and most busy part of city.
Our guests, through the metro station practically in front of the Hotel that is the connection point of two lines, can reach different parts of the city in opposite sides, such as the airport or downtown.
The Hotel was almost fully renovated between January and March 2017, with new Reception, new Bar, new lifts, new corridors, new windows, new bathrooms, etc... but it is a constant process and we are always making more improvements.

This is a most professional hotel ! Perfectly placed in the city - on the metro line from the airport - all transportation within 2 minute walk - great rooms and beds - fabulous restaurant - great breakfasts - excellent buffet in the evening - the staff are amazing and so kind and helpful !! THIS is where you need to stay in Lisbon !! Don't hesitate ! Just book it !!
Room tip: all rooms are the same !

We needed a basic room near the airport for the night. It is a quick 10 minute drive to the airport at 5:30 a.m. Uber came within 3 minutes to pick us up. The hotel has 9 floors and is popular with big groups. The room size is ok. Room is furnished with a fridge and a safe although the furnishings can use an update. Beds are comfortable and bathroom is fine although the towels are gray and worn. The walls are very thin and we can hear the neighbors arguing in Chinese next door. The hotel has an on site restaurant which offered dinner buffet some nights. Cost us 16 eu drinks not included. The buffet offers a chicken entree, fish entree, rice, pasta, appetizers, salad bar, soup, and 5 dessert options. The food is slightly above average. Service is very good. The hotel packed us a to go lunch since we would be missing out on buffet breakfast which is included. I like the location of the hotel. It is a 5 minute walk to a viewpoint at park Eduardo and a beautiful walk in the park down the main avenue Liberdade. Not a bad stay for a leas expensive option than the Sheraton.

We appreciate your kind words about the Hotel, concerning the location (close to the airport and in a 5-minute walk able to get to perhaps the most beautiful view point of the city, in the top of "Parque Eduardo VII), room facilities (size, comfortable beds, bathroom), food quality and service at the Restaurant.
Unfortunately, it seems you haven't tasted our Breakfast and this is one of our major strong points, please do so in your next visit.
Due to all the aspects you have mentioned, the Hotel is very popular as you said, and the big majority of our clients praise us as you do or even more, but it is a shame that despite the compliments we haven't achieve a better general evaluation from you.

Clean and convenient, but beds are very hard. The parking is great it is right at the hotel but be warned it is a tight tight spot. I had a mid size and it was difficult, but I did see a mini van in there. The only reason this hotel is not 5 starb is the hair that was everywhere in the bathroom when we arrived.
Parking is 7.50 a night with in and out privileges they just have to validate it for you.
Staff was helpful and spoke English well.

We have to agree with you about the parking, once as you said, it is great to have it, but it does not have generous dimensions.
Although, our Reception staff is always ready to help our clients and the bell boys will be glad to park or take of your car from the parking if needed.
It is a shame to not achieve the 5 stars because of the very important detail you mentioned, once our cleanliness is one of our strong points, but we will try very hard to improve.

We stayed at this hotel two nights is is well appointed in a quiet area of Lisbon. We ate in the hotel both nights buffet evening meal and substantial club sandwich the second night. The hotel is close to the metro and many fine shops.
