“A token view of Lisbon”
Reviewed May 27, 2013

Stop here is to get your postcard picture of Lisbon. Some seat and a sandwich stand on site to give some refreshments while you take in the view.

“Just next door to the Largo das Portas do Sol”
Reviewed May 21, 2013

If you get off the Tram 28 at the Largo stop, after admiring the view there, you can walk down the hill for a short way and there is the Miradouro. No need to waste a tram ride for each one. But plenty of good reasons to see both, to take pictures from each viewpoint. And just a bit further down the hill from the Miradouro is the Cathedral/Se. Or if you are ready to do some climbing, from there you can get to the Castelo Sao Jorge on the top of the hill. Look for the signs or just follow the crowd.

“Great view!”
Reviewed December 3, 2012

Have a great view to the River and Alfama, the only problem is the construction above the balcony, is ugly, as been there for years and they never resolve it! Another interesting place is the Santa Luzia Church, it belongs to "Ordem de Malta" and some tiles panels at side of the church! Is 50 metres from Portas do Sol balcony, another spot that worth a visit! the tram 28 stops there.

“Worth a short spot”
Reviewed November 12, 2012

There are lots of miradouros (viewpoints) around Lisbon, and this one, like the others, is worth a short spot to admire the rooftops of Alfama and the river.
