Had a very nice evening here primarily because of the very friendly owner who was just delightful – and seems to speak about 10 languages. Food and drink were great and the location excellent. Recommended.

We stayed in Portugal around one week and this was one of the best meals we had while visiting. The whole ambiance and experience was great. We ordered the cod with small potatoes and the potatoes were some of the best small potatoes I've ever had. We also had the chocolate mouse which was very good and was great for sharing. The house wine and mojitos were good and the staff made us feel very welcome, they even purchased a couple drinks for us on the house. It made our trip and experience in Portugal that much better. Overall I would highly recommend going to this restaurant when in Lisbon, we hope to return someday.

A very cozy restaurant in the heart of Bairro Alto. Where you can have nice local food. Prices are very reasonable versus food quality. The owner and the staff are very friendly.

When we sat down, we got some bread, olives and cured cheese.
These appetizers was also at the menu, so we were a bit confused why we couldn't choose them ourselves. We were dissapointed because we needed to pay around Euro 7,-. We would skip the cured cheese.
Anyway, we enjoyed our evening.

I recommend the steak on a hot stone, it was special and the home made sauces were terrific.

This restaurant serves very typical Portugese dishes. We celebrated our 1st year anniversary here due to all the great reviews on Tripadvisor and I have to say they were so right. The ambiance is very cozy and romantic but what really is the highlight is the food and service. We also started with octopus salad was out of this world! loved the food here - especially the garlic prawns. A great experience! Highly recommend!

Mary and I were here twice - one night just the two of us, the other with Carlos and Martina. Carlos is experienced and raved about the choice. The appetizers, the house wine, the side entrees, and then the Meat on Stone.
