Description: Cozy, romantic and typically Portuguese, our restaurant in the heart of Bairro Alto, business north of Portugal to the south and serves wines and delicacies of our cuisine in the form of "delicacies". We are a space where relive the homemade flavors is synonymous with quality, harmony and good taste. The restaurant “HA PITEU” chose his name according to the concept that proposes. We stumbled upon it as we wandered around the area looking for somewhere to eat, and we are very glad we did. The decor is simple but charming. The food was excellent - different to most other places you find around Lisbon, and very tasty. The price was reasonable and the service very good. We would definitely go back there if we return to Lisbon.

This is a great place in the heart on Barrio Alto.
Wonderful atmosphere, excellent food and reasonable prices.
We enjoyed it so much that we came back again the next evening.
Highly recommended.

Went here with friends on our last night in Lisbon. Had a really nice time. The menu was interesting and the food was good. Seemed to be very popular with locals. Pretty basic decor but had a great atmosphere. Reasonably priced too. Attentive and helpful staff who helped us with a taxi, even making sure we were ok with the driver and helping with directions. Would go again.

Our hostess (rental apartment) suggested this restaurant as it presents wonderful petiscos and lovely accompanying wines. Prices are decent and food is great. The best feature however is the owner/hostess/waitress Cristina (not sure of spelling) who is an absolute charm. Throughout our stay in Lisbon we were seeking an authentic Fado evening and this is where we found it. We were treated to six singers, and had a lovely conversation with the guitarist during his break. All in all, a wonderful place, highly recommended. Thank you Christina, and Raquel!
