I was looking for traditional Portuguese food, especially seafood. This place has cod any way you can imagine. I started with a salad and had boiled cod with boiled eggs and vegetables. Senhor Gilberto provided excellent service and a special treat at the end of the meal. I was very satisfied with this choice. It was also a short walk from my hotel which is down by the river near the Orient train station.

Ask for the the misto de bacalhau. It has four different bacalhau dishes. You can taste the main Portugal dishes in one meal. We asked the portion for two but couldn't finish, it is a lot of food. Gilberto and Charles are nice guys that work there......the food is very good and the place has a good service. Price in this area is much better then in the historical center or bairro alto and chiado.

Great place for Bacalhau we never knew there were so many different ways it could be served. There were four of us and we each had a different dish which were all delicious. Our waiter Gilberao was great had a great sense of humour. The meal was very good value, and would definitely go there again and recommend it to others.

Excellent place. Nice service. I would recommend this to anyone wanting to taste the traditional bacalhau of portugal.
