The hotel is located along the Avenida da Liberdade and it takes few minutes to walk to the old town and I don't feel it is so central really. The lobby is quite fancy looking and rooms have this old style touch that might be too much for many. Room size is medium when you take account the location of the hotel. Service is good and on level you can expect from this type of hotel. Breakfast is served in a classy restaurant room and it has a good offering that should not disappoint you. Hotel has a classy restaurant on top floor with a roof terrace of great view over the city. There is a small swimming pool in the back alley side of the hotel. Stayed for 3 nights.

Here i was again in Tivoli Lisboa, one of my favourites. The personnel was amazing. I selected a room via internet, and when i got to the hotel, the room was too small, so i asked if able, as always i Mr polite in person, to have another room. The lady in charge that night, because i just arrived from Cabo Verde so it was night, gave us, me and my wife, an outstading dedication. She tried everything and at the end, she gaves aroom that was outstanding. We had now a bigger room and we were pleased. I do not remeber her name that when she reads this, she will know.
All the other personnal, indinning room, breakfast persoannel, lobby, was indeed very professional.
Once again i had a a very goog time i Tivoli Lisboa.
I will return, and thank you.

We had a pleasant stay at this hotel. The staff was very kind and cooperative. We were there during the Christmas holidays and they were be accommodating for our big group of 11. The rooms are nice but are in need of a makeover that is why I am giving it 4 stars and not 5. Lisbon is such a nice and friendly city that all seems fine. The hotel location is in the newer part of the city so you would be a bit a way from the historical bits. But transportation is quite easy and affordable. I would recommend this hotel.

Nice location. Great breakfast. Good room service. Rooms are small and dirty but quaint decor. Quality of rooms are bad. Problems with internet, tv and telephones. the collection rooms are same size as classic double rooms. Beds are very comfortable. bathrooms are good. Gym in hotel is below standard. Reception is grand. Elevators are very noisy and old.

Stayed in hotel over the New Year period, rooms a little worn and I would not say its a five star hotel by English standards. Unfortunately Chamber Maids must NOT be trusted, I had two designer bags stolen from our room.

The Tivoli Hotel Lisbon is in a fantastic location on the Avenida. da Liberdade , which is very handy for access to the shops and restaurants. It is also within walking distance to the old town, or there is a metro stop very close by. The rooms are well appointed, we especially enjoyed the in-room Nespresso machine and we were lucky enough to have a balcony. The rooms on the higher floors have been refurbished. The staff are helpful enough. Although Wifi is chargeable there is free internet access available in the business centre. The outdoor swimming pool is fantastic and very welcome after a hot day exploring, and the double sized sun-beds are brilliant. The hotel has a fantastic roof bar with views across the city, we did also try the restaurant up there, which was ok but doesn’t compete with the ones in the area around the hotel.

Everything you would expect from a five star hotel, a traditional place with old fashioned values. The hotel is very expensive, yes but this is what you would expect. The room bar is expensive, the use of coffee in the room is also charged for, which is a bit much at these prices. However the rooms are very confortable, we were lucky enough to have a room overlooking the Avenue, which is very busy but the glazing prevents noise. The beds are just so comfortable, lovely soft mattress topper and soft pillows and white soft bedding. The bathroom was a bit on the small side and a little dated but everything you could need. Bathrobes and slippers were included. The hotel staff were friendly without being over familiar. The hotel breakfast which was included in our tariff was excellent, everything you could want. The hotel is well placed for the rest of the city, just a ten minute walk down to the squares in the city and the shops and waterfront. The prices for food and drinks in Lisbon, we thought were very reasonable. This is on the bus route for the airport and also for the sightseeing bus, altogether an excellent place to stay.
