The hotel is very confortable, especially for the lounges and the bar on the ground floor. They also offered us a glass of porto when we arrived. Rooms are small, anyway spotless. Breakfst is fantastic, with large choice and good quality. The position is OK, not in the city heart, but at a walkable distance and if you do not like walk, there is a metro station very close. Internet wi-fi connection did not work into the rooms, and it is very weak everywhere. There are two PCs on the ground floor, anyway it was hard to find them available and always had to queue.

I can fully recommend this hotel. It is just a wee gem which makes a holiday in Lisbon just Bliss. The staff are polite friendly and very accomodating. The accomodation is excellent, clean and large in size. It is positioned no more that 30 steps from the metro but a very easy flat walk from the certre of the city. There are a number of small shops near by for bottled water etc but the room comes with an excellent mini bar if the need takes you in a hurry! I was also delighted with how quiet it was at night. The windows have a very efficient triple glazing type arrangement. The hotel has also maintained a taste of Portugal in its decor unlike so many of its bigger international competetors. It is not the cheapest option but I did not begrudge it in the slightest.

Stayed here for our annual autumn european city break. Usually moderately underwhelmed by the hotels we get in cities but the Lisboa Plaza was genuinely very good. Great room, good overall decor and atmosphere, friendly and unobtrusive staff, fantastic breakfast; and location right in the city centre within walking distance of many of the places to visit. It's so difficult to make you're mind up from all the reviews that floating around but all those that we saw were resoundingly positive - and for once I can confirm that they are true. It's not the cheapest but worth it.

Travelling with a group of nine, including three smaller children, we explicitly seeked a comfortable place with a central location. And we had all we wanted - and even more. Location is excellent: only hundred meters from the nearest metro-station and ten meters from a busy road, but in a quiet street.
Rooms were ranging from small to moderate to ballroom-sized (triple room with extra bed and still very spacious), with clean bathrooms.
Breakfast was too good. We always left the buffet feeling like a zeppelin filled with cream...
Great service, friendly staff. One remark: when asking how to reach a certain location, we were told to take the Gloria-elevador, but to our surprise this tram was already out of service for a couple of weeks and would not ride for the next few weeks. This mistake cost us quite some effort. Apart from this: perfect service.
We also have to say that the WiFi was not very stable (mildly put...). Luckily, two desktop-computers were available to all guests.
All in all: highly recommendable, but obviously not one of the cheapest hotels in Lisbon.

For a hotel close to most of Lisbon historical and turistic sites, it is a bargain. Buffet breakfast is not included, but you can pay US $ 75 per night to have a nice, cozy and clean (although small) room. Decoration is very traditional and beautiful too and sometimes you have the impression you are a guest in a 4-star hotel. Customer service is excellent. No parking spaces, though: you need to park you car on the street. Internet connection really suck (painfully slow and not reliable), but it is free of charge.

Feedback from our guests is very important and helps us to improve our service.
We are improving our free wireless system in the rooms as we have already done in the public areas. We also have 2 computers and a printer in our internet point for free use of our guests.
We have a parking space next to the hotel which is paid but it is also possible to park the car in the street in front of the hotel at no cost. Our standard rooms are indeed small for American standards but we also have superior rooms which are larger but more expensive. The price referred does not match with our minimum rate which is higher. Thank you. Diogo Laranjo, General Manager.

We really had an excellent time at this hotel. Fristly breakfast was super with an excellent choice , staff were very helpful . The hotel decor is very quirky and interestly and the rooms were very clean. The outside 5th floor terrence is also a gem and could be used for sun bathing as well as a relaxing drink after a hard days sightseeing . I would fully recommend this hotel for a city break stay.
