We stayed at the Olissippo down the road so this was our local shopping mall. Although not the best in Lisbon, that would probably be Colombo, its convenience was much appreciated. It is open until midnight everyday, even Sunday, and with its basement Continente supermarket (which is huge) it is just so very handy. There is even a fitness club within. The food court is chaotic and always crowded, but there are 2 levels with eateries and plenty of choice. Local cuisine, grilled meats, steakhouse, salad and juices, soups and wraps, sushi, dimsum, ramen are just some of the foods offered here. We had 3 meals here and while not enjoying the fight for tables, we did enjoy the food. We noticed the upper level tended to be less busy... And it is directly across from Oriente metro station and MEO arena. I think it is the perfect place to spend a few hours on a Sunday, when hardly anything is open in Lisbon. And visit the wonderful Oceanarium while you are there.

If you actually want to do shopping (as in buying), go to Colombo. This is not an expensive mall considering that Portugal has some of the best prices of all Europe. It has the basic brands and not a great number of them. The food court is usually crowded and doesn't offer anything out of the ordinary either. It is usually packed because it is right next to Gare do Oriente Station, which serves for metro, bus and train.
The glass ceilings on the main area are a nice touch. The bathrooms, however, are nasty.
If you're in the area do check it out because it is right next to Parque das Nações, Oceanario, etc, etc. But if you just want to shop, don't waste your time going there: just head straight to Colombo.

This is the shopping senter with the dirtiest man toiletts i have ever seen. My girlfriend that loves shopping mall found one store. The rest she felt was to expensive for her wallet.

If you really like shopping, Lisbon is not the right place. In fact, you have 3 or 4 choices to go shopping: the best choice is Colombo.
For Colombo, you take Metro blue line (Azzur) to Collegio Militar Station.
Not so good for shoppers are:
- Amoreiras: difficult to reach - by bus to Amoreiras or take Metro Green line to Cais de Sodre Station and then walk 8oo meters up the hill; I do not reccomend.
- Vasco de Gama: near to the seaside, but very hot inside shopping center. Do not reccomend.
- Oriente: red line Metro. Not so big, less shops.
Besides those you have (of course) Corte Ingles, which I do not like.
No.1 choice for shopping is Colombo.

This is a nice and modern mall, located next to the Oriente station and the old Expo site.
It features all the regular shops and eateries.
It does not, however, feature any free WI-FI, which is a shame.
Despite the meaningful name of the mall, it is not unique in any way, and looks and feels exactly like any other big mall in Europe.
