Stayed in the Novotel Lisboa for 2 nights. Good location for sightseeing and close to the airport with metro red line. Rooms are convenient, clean and well equipped. Hotel staff were polite and professional. Very recommended.

Stayed in this hotel for two nights for sightseeing in Lisbon. The rooms are conviniently big, but they only have a really small window which can't be opened. The airconditioning doesn't cool much even at its coldest setting, so the rooms are quite warm. The breakfast buffet is okay. If you're a bit late, then expect the choice in bread to be very limited though.
The service at the reception is friendly, but dreadfully slow. Its nice that they take a lot of time to help customers, but its less nice if a large queue forms up behind that customer because of that. Had to wait almost 30 minutes just for the checkout to be done.
Accross the street down the hill there's free parking. Just a 2 minute walk (though up a hill through a non paved trail). A lot of locals are using it though, so expect overcrowded parking where your car might get blocked by another. If you arrive after business hours you should be able to find a spot along the street instead of on the sand where you should be fine. Parking at the hotel itself costs 11 euro/night. Parking in the streets is allowed for 4 hours max only.
Its about a 10 minute walk to the nearest metro station (you'll have to take a left when coming out of the hotel, take a left again, take another left, walk under the bridge and keep going straight until you see the bus stop). From there you can buy a day ticket for 6,50 euro each to explore the city.

I went with my wife and 6 month infant. I have visited various Novotel hotels. This Novotel is probably the best I have gone to. The rooms are clean and spacious. The bathroom was immaculate. he breakfast was excellent. We had the buffet dinner which seemed like a steal for 16 Euros each. Te bad part is that the hotel is not as close to the Metro as written by other reviewers. i would definitely not recommend this hotel if you are staying with an infant. there are hardly any restaurants nearby. There is no proper road to the Metro so it was a bit of a nightmare with the pushchair. Besides the location, I could not find any other flaw.

This hotel is amazing! Everything was just perfect here. We made a booking online. On arrival the reception staff were polite and professional. The room we booked was a superior room. We had a double bed and a sofa bed too. The bed was so comfy and clean, the room and toilets were very clean too, the buffet breakfast was sumptuous, the buffet dinner amazing for only 19 euros with a free welcome drink of Portuguese wine. There was a different variety of food served daily for dinner and we enjoyed the Portuguese food especially the desert and variety of sweets.

This hotel is best for family as buffet is free for children below 16.

The tube station is just across the road.

We had a wonderful stay here and would recommend it to all visitors of all age groups.

Room Tip: The superior room was good.

The hotel is on the aerobus route from the airport. Our room was on the top most floor, but despite being in the flight path of the planes, it was well insulated with soundproof windows. The kids corner is very good entertainment for keeping the children occupied. The metro station is at a walk able distance as the city bus station at SeteRios. The room was clean and the staff were very helpful in providing the main places of attraction and the best option to reach there. The restaurant had a buffet selection every night, but for lunch the menu selection was rather limited. The only issue we faced was with the doors which sometimes didn't lock and opened without the key-card, but the staff were immediate to solve the problem and it seemed like this was a known issue. Overall we had a great holiday and should an opportunity to visit Lisbon arise again, we would surely stay at this hotel.
