I had a problem at the airport and asked to the taxi driver to bring me in a Hotel (no wifi in Lisboa airport to check by myself). he drived me at the Alif hotel, and i think he has something like a percentage on "airport coming clients".
they gave me a double room (for 1 person) and asked me to pay at the check in.
once in the room i checked the prices on Booking.com and i saw that they asked me to pay the double price of the actual rate!
this is not how a correct hotel should work! so easy to play with clients arriving from the airport and that didn't plan to stay one night blocked in Lisboa right? anyway it was too late to have my money back.
i asked if it was possible to have breakfast 10 minutes before 7 cause i had to leave very early for the airport, and they simply answered me NO, without even trying to meet my demand (after all i was paying a LOT, and they could at least try to make me change my mind about their bad service).
receptionists simply don't know how to deal with customers! very bad experience in this hotel
