we were on the second floor so no nice views, however room was clean and quite beautiful really, bathroom also clean. Breakfast on the ninth floor, which was quite extensive but not fresh. They could make a huge improvement by just adding some fresh fruit instead of canned fruit, but then again it was 6.50 so we did get our money's worth really. In the middle Lisbon and quite close to the metro station, thought not as many restaurants in the area as expected. However, as I said it's easy to travel elsewhere and the metro goes on until at least 12 at night so you have more than enough time to get back. You can pretty much get to all of the tourist attractions quite easily from this hotel. Staff was friendly and helpful, though the cleaners in the morning had absolutely no consideration for people who were still asleep at 8 in the morning, haha! Slamming doors is not something I want to wake up to. Overall though, a lovely stay.

Stayed here after deciding to visit Lisbon from the algarve 3 hour train ride so decided to stay
the night before traveling back, found the hotel well above the standard I expected for what we payed, we were on the seventh floor with great views, the room was clean and the beds were comfortable, did book a double room but ended up with two single beds.breakfast was good and reasonable choice which was served on the ninth floor again great views, It was a 5 min. walk from the main train station also the metro is almost right outside the hotel, I would stay there again, the staff were very good and helpful.

Room Tip: if you want a good view of the city ask for a room on one of the higher floors

Hotel clean, neat, positioning near a subway station, Good value.
I recommend rooms in back of the hotel as they are quiet .
Concerning breakfast, I was very pleased with its quality and variety (2-3 kinds of cheese, scrambled eggs, fruits of several kinds, various yogurts, several types of cookies, etc).

I spend one night at ALIF Lisbon hotel. My room was located at the front of the hotel in the sixth floor, and still I could hear an occasional motocycle roaring by in the avenue bellow. So if you need to get some rest, ask for a room in the back.

My room was not too big, but beds were comfortable and the closet had plenty of space. Air conditioning and TV were part of the room.

WC was good.

Breakfast was surprisingly good for a 3 star hotel.

The hotel is located in the center of Lisbon, with a nearby subway station.

Parking in the hotel garage costs 7 Euros.

The biggest problem with this hotel is that it does not have free WiFi.

Room Tip: Ask for a room facing the back of the hotel if you want to have a quiet night.

We stayed here because it was said to be in a central location. I ask,"Central to what?" The hotel seemed to be in a safe section and central to all of Lisbon, but we had to travel a long way to get to museums, Castle of Sao Joao, Rossio Square, etc. The staff was not very helpful and at times seemed stiff and distant. We had a reservation for a room w/double bed but were shown to a room with two singles. When we asked for a dbl, our room was basically downgraded and did not have a balcony,as did the first room. The toilet seat was broken so a plumber had to come and fix it. When I flushed the toilet, it kept on flushing until I had to jiggle the device. The shower knob came off in my hand more than twice. The electronic cards which open the door often did not work and had to be reprogrammed. Maid service was good. Otherwise,we felt ignored and had so much trouble with our room that we were unhappy. The breakfast buffet was very pleasant and adequate to our needs. We would not stay at this hotel ever again!

located near the metro station campo pequeno. Cleanliness was good though bathrooms could have been way more better in terrms of cleanliness. Breakfast was kindda ok, could have more variety. The staff was polite and all spoke English. I would like to have free internet in such a hotel. The bull fight building in front has a mall below it. The hotel is at a square but that isnt too noisy. They charge you before you actually reach the hotel or as soon as you book so be careful with that.
