“Good location”
Reviewed March 1, 2014

Good walking distance to Metro station that takes you to the airport, a bit outside of downtown, but you can still walk into downtown, if you are here for a city trip. If you are short on time, take the Metro and go 2 or 3 stops to downtown. Friendly staff. Rooms are standard. Unfortunately they charge you for using Wi-Fi, which is for me a no-go nowadays in a modern hotel. Did not take the breakfast, there is a McDonalds 75 m away that has a simple breakfast and Wi-Fi.

Room Tip: The street in front is a dead end street, you may still want to take a room to the rear.

The family suites are spacious and the location is reasonable to the Central city and bus tours, although there isn't much to do close by.
The service is poor..... No new toilet rolls, sugar or tea were provided even after contacting reception!!! The fixtures are in poor repair and one of the showers had zero pressure and the head kept dropping....and you guessed it after informing reception nothing was done.
Try somewhere else.

It was an excellent choice close to the center and the metro station, great apartment, clean and friendly staff are always available. Great offer of the breakfast buffet only 7.50 € children free, we made a hearty breakfast in 4 to 15 Euros. I highly recommend it to families with children

Stayed here for 3 nights and then went over to Porto and came back after 3 nights for another 4 nights.
Both the times the front desk (very small) people were very nice and helpful. Did not take the breakfast. Enjoyed our stay as this place is a very convenient walk to the nearest Metro stop and the hop on hop off buses are also near by. Not many eating choices except a McDonald close across the street but dont want to go there as wanted to try local food. Lisbon and Porto are both full of streets going up hill and down hill so keep in mind it can get tiresome for those not used to walking. Strongly suggest getting into walking shape prior to visiting as being able to walk easily is a big help. There are so many good sights and using a cab every time is not the right way to enjoy Portugal. The rooms at this place are large with plenty of space. We had a room overlooking the swimming pool and was very quiet at night. They gave us free internet wifi on both the stays which was a nice bonus - dont know if they have started doing that now for every one. Found the area to be safe. The bed linen and towels were always changed and very fresh and clean. There is a fridge and micro in the kitchen area, which is a great help if you are staying for several days.

We stayed here for three nights. Having read other reviews I was a bit concerned, I need not have been. Arrival and check in could not have been easier. We stayed in a suite with a lounge/diner, double bed room and small kitchen. TV in both lounge and bedroom. Bathroom more than adequate. Rooms were to the front of the hotel and there have been reports of noise. OK there was the odd lorry and voices from the street but it is a working city nothing excessive or worth complaining about. Staff were fine the Lady on reception in the morning was excellent her male counter parts less so but not rude as reported. The issue with with fi is a bit annoying. To charge 10euros for one days access as the minimum you can have is a bit annoying. It is 2013 after all. I have read that the answer is to use the MacDonalds across the road. Fine if it's working which it wasn't when I tried. There is a supermarket down the road , turn left down to the main road and it's on the opposite corner. If you get this hotel for a good price and don't desperately need wi fi then it's a good hotel. There is a pool but not for me in November but it looked fine and not something you will always find in a city centre hotel.
We had a small problem with a TV and the heating but a call to reception and a visit from the techies and all was repaired efficiently and professionally. Breakfast was buffet style and although small had everything you could look for including bacon that was not the usual stuff you get abroad but what we are familiar with. Good value on promotion for less than 8 euros.
A three day travel pass cost 18.50 Euros and is well worth it. It covers buses, metro, trams, boats and elevators, buy at the airport metro station. Incidentally the metro to the centre of town only takes about 15 minutes. If you are heading to the Clarion suites change at San Sebastion ( or Portuguese version of it) then off at Marquese de Pombal, apologies for the spelling. It is an uphill walk so careful. If you are in town and after a busy day you don't want that walk, a taxi will run about six euros. All in all a good base to explore this beautiful city.

Location! Quiet. Large rooms with Kitchens. Very helpful staff. Small grocery store 2 blocks.
3 blocks from the Praça Marquês de Pombal, the center of Lisboa. A wonderful large park 5 minute walk. Aerobus Shuttle from airport 3.5 Euro each, then 5 minute walk. Easy even with luggage. Close to buses Taxi to cruise port…only 15 euro. Make sure you get a room with the large bay window then move your table into it for the day and back into the room for the evening.
Have a great time….we did! Lorelli and Steven

The rooms here are huge, a separate living and kitchen space with private bedroom. The hotel is clean, on a quiet street and very close to transportation. There is even a McDonald's across the street for a fast meal and a grocery just south of the hotel.

Room Tip: Our room was on the front of the hotel, street side and still very quiet.
