No Teppaniaki grill, no great selection for the buffet, no control over condiments on the shusi (the server adds sauce and spices in vast quantities completely destroying the flavors of anything the chef created), very small serving area, difficult to find and not one Japanese staff member to be found! Would not raccomend!

If you're searching for japanese (=from Japan) food, this is NOT the place. Staff and location is pleasant. All items ordered was overpriced for their quality, except from the warm sake.

The sushi is great.
The restaurant is small which creates a romantic atmosphere!

The best japanese experience in Portugal. Simple decorated, in a japanese twisted style. Good and variable menu, with a lot of choices, suitable to vegetarians as well. Beautiful plates, in a relaxed atmosphere.
Reservation should be made, since it's a very small place, which makes it very nice too.
For a good japanese experience (as no Tepaniaky) don't miss this! And Bairro Alto is just around the corner...

You'll find that in Portugal, sushi restaurants are owned by either Brazilian or Chinese people. The first, tend to adapt sushi with a Brazilian twist and add some exotic ingredients, which makes sushi somehow taste slightly strange. Not in this place! In this little gem between Príncipe Real and Bairro Alto you'll find authentic sushi. There's a private function room upstairs that can be booked. It's so private that the staff will give you an walk-talkie so they don't have to disturb you unless you call them through this device. I went there on a Wednesday night and it was packed. Book in advance to avoid disappointment. All in all, I'll be returning there and would recommend this restaurant to anyone who's looking for real sushi in Lisbon.
