This was on the same road as the hotel i was staying at so i gave it a try looking for as authetic a local meal nearby. Menu was in English as well. The waiters looked busy snd a little stressed. Two of them even had a little argument about not attending to a customer - they then smiled at me apologetically, they were undestandably busy. This just made it a pleasant place to have a meal as the place had character. The food looked great wgen i looked at other tables, starters, mains and some wow desserts. My dish was exactly what i wanted, i asked to have fries instead of boiled potatoes which was different to the menu but they were happy to give me what i wanted, my fish was just spot on.
I like some of my food hot so i asked if they had anything lije a hot sauce as the dish didnt normally come with it - they got the kitchen to make a little sauce for me. Again adding to the charm of the place.
There is a bar as well and i had a late drink there as there was a great range of spirits as well as beer - plus it was a lot cheaper than the hotel. You can also watch the televisions which can show soccer or you can people watch or try to discuss soccer with the barman as you watch one if the waiters having a quick drink of a small beer during a very short break on again another busy night.
The only strange thing was that they didnt seem to want to give me the bill even though i'd asked for it a few times, i could have easily walked out and they wouldnt have noticed that i hadnt paid - the head waiter did laugh apologetically when i pointed out that i still hadnt received the bill. All good fun and a taste of local life.
