“Breathtaking view of Lisbon”
Reviewed January 28, 2013

Astonishing view of Lisbon and the river Tagus! It's a small miradouro making it really sweet and "human-sized". It has a little church/chapel and a saint outside with the rosary around it. It has some trees creating shade for the benches so you can enjoy the view.
This is where the famous tiles saying "Boa Viagem. Lisboa Espera Por Ti" which means "Have a good trip. Lisbon waits for you".

“Fantastic Views”
Reviewed January 11, 2013

This is off the beaten track a bit but is well worth looking for. You can get a number 28 tram to a stop about 400m away and then navigate some side roads to find it.

The views are stunning. You can see right across Lisbon, over the river to Christo Re and the Pont 25 Abril as well as lots of other places in the city.

The small shrine is also very pretty.

If you want to walk back down to central Lisbon, there are some steps to the side, but beware they are very steep at the top and very narrow so not good to go down if you have a pushchair or similar.

“Incredible View”
Reviewed January 7, 2013

Breath taking view... I went on New Years Day, so there was a lot of trash on the ground from what was apparently a raucous party the night before... but I still found the spot peaceful and enjoyed the view for several minutes.

“A great panorama of the city”
Reviewed December 31, 2012 via mobile

If you wanna have a charming impression of the city, this is the place. You see S. George's Castle, the Sé (Cathedral), the elevator, the Comercio square and the Tejo river. Let yourself get lost on the streets and get to the castle right away.

“One good sightseeing point”
Reviewed December 14, 2012 via mobile

This is one of several sightseeing points in Lisbon where you can observe all of the downtown area and some of the rest of the town.

The area itself is very small with some chairs and trees. There is a very small church too.

There is no space for a coffee shop or any other kind of shop, which makes this spot cosy. It's an important spot to me since it was here that me and my wife started to date.

It's a very nice place at night with all the city lights but it gets windy so take a coat.

There is no parking lot, it's very difficult to park since it's a residential area.
