We went to this restaurant with a group of international friends who all live in Lisbon. Going there we did not expect much except for enjoying some different food than portuguese. But our expectations were well overachieved! The menu is very long and a wide varienty of food is offered for fair prices. Since I have just been to India it just felt like being back there - it was perfect! We ordered some starters, Naan, rice and three mains that we shared with four people. It all tasted so good that in the end we tasted some dessert - indian coconut ice cream... Unbelievably delicious!

Being an indian and travelling through Spain and Portugal with some fellow Brits of indian origin, we started to feel a bit needy of some spice. I went on to Trip Advisor and saw this place. Well in for a penny, in for a pound. My friends were a bit apprehensive. It's down some dodgy looking side road, but it is perfectly safe. Now this place actually looks like an authentic restaurant from india inside, don't expect anything too smart. We were given a very warm welcome and seated promptly. Now the menu looked good but we asked the very helpful waiter to order for us. All 4 of us were tremendously impressed and rated it as one of the best indian meals we had ever eaten and for 4 of us to say that independently is going to some way. The food speaks for itself guys, very tasty.

We went to the restaurant for dinner tonight and were very unimpressed. We were seated in a tiny part of the restaurant crammed full of tables with little room to move. The food was full of red dye and cream and was barely passable. The breads were ok but delivered well before the mains, even though we asked them to be bought with the mains. Will not be going there again. We have been to far better Indian restaurants in Lisbon.

I come to this place all the time. I allways eat some wonderful Indian food in here.
This is my favorite Indian Restaurant and one of my favorite restaurants in Lisbon. It is also located in the city center, so it's very easy to get there.

The food is great, the atmosphere is very cozy and the service is top notch. The waiters are really nice.
If you wish to go with a large group (>5 people) you better make a reservation, but a smaller group than that you can probabily just walk in.

The price is also very affordable, you can get a great meal for less than 10€ if you don't get any fancy desserts or drinks. But if you choose a drink or a desert it is very affordable and worth it.

I personally recommend the following combination for a wonderful meal:

drink: manga Lassi
dish: Garlic Tikka or Sheekh Kebab
rice: Jeera Rice
dessert: Bebinca

If you're in Lisbon looking for a good Indian food this is the place. But if this is your case don't forget to book it first, especially Fridays and Saturdays.
