This is a real find, with old fashioned grandeur, and an incredible display counter full of gorgeous baked goods. The Portuguese custard tarts (Pastel de nata) are a real treat. Table service is available, however, you can also stand at the long display counter, and have your morning espresso and pastries for a lower price than table service.

Old fashioned style cake shop with waiters in dickie bows. Love the tradition of the place. Beautiful room with lots of very stylish customers eating and drinking. Only had a coffee and cake, but both very good and if in this part of Lisbon again would certainly visit.
Not really near the tourist hotspots but great cafe.

I go quite often to Pastelaria Versailles to take the breakfast. I like their orange juice made at the time, and the sandwiches with the bread still warm. Less often I have dinner there. The last time I went with my mother, my son and his Czech girlfriend. The "Bifinhos do Lombo” were" excellent. Our fellow Czech, ranked them as the best that had eaten in his life. This time we do not eat desserts because we are all concerned about weight, but if you go to Versailles try the "Garibaldis" or "Indianos," which are unique. The coffe is not so good but you forget it because the rest is really good. The service is the most professional of Lisbon.

Cafe Versailles has got to be the one of the best restaurants in Lisbon. Try their Cordon Bleu, it was excellent!

The oldest cafe in Lisbon and it has maintained it's sense of old time glory. Lovely decor and excellent service. The pastries are more expensive than other areas of town as you are slap bang in the centre but they are good. You pay more for the atmosphere and the place really. You can also stand at the bar and eat/drink or sit in or out. I think the price of things varies accordingly.
