Great view from the roof, temporary exhibitions, graveyards from notable portuguese people although on Sunday, the entrance until 14h is free.
Close on monday.

“Visit the surroundings”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 4, 2012

The pantheon is wonderful in its historic value and the view over the city and the river. You can see all of it fairly quickly so don't count on spending a lot of time here.
To go up there i recommend you get the 28 Tram. The stop is a little further so be attentive and you wont miss the stop.
Once here, since the pantheon itself only takes one to two hours maximum, if you have some time, spend it in this area and see Graça and the Campo de Santa Clara.
Around this place there are some old industrial laborers neighborhoods. As an advice, please don't leave this area without seeing Vila Berta.

“Really Pleasant”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 18, 2012

For reasons I can't quite explain, I really enjoyed my time at the Pantheon. They fill the Pantheon with serene music, which creates a calming atmosphere. There isn't much per se to see inside the building, but they have some nice dedications to people who have contributed to Portugese history. At first I thought they were buried here, but the signage indicates where they actual bodies are at rest. Individuals include explorers Vasco de Gama and Pedro Alvares Cabral.

Running while I visited was a small art display created in dedication to, again, famous figures in Portugese and European history. The paintings were all in the same style: red background, with a stylized depiction of the individual. They were all very good, and were a nice addition.

Lastly, you can make it all the way to the roof and look out over the city. It is an impressive vantage and the best part of the visit. Additionally, you can walk around the inside of the dome and look down on the Pantheon. All in all, a fun little visit which wont take too much time.

“Not too impressive but still worth the visit”

I have given the Pantheon an average rating for lack of something between it and very good. It is a good spot but feels somewhat new compared to the rest of Lisbon places.
