We stayed at Britânia for 4 nights as a birthday trip for my husband and the hotel was truly wonderful. A great location close to everywhere busy, whilst being in a quiet side road behind the Louis Vuitton shop. The gentlemen on reception and in the bar were so helpful, from giving us an overview of the city on arrival, recommending places to go, helping us hire bikes and even making me the most wonderful hot chocolate (complete with kit kat balanced on top) at 1am after a night out. The room was superb (63) with double doors opening onto a balcony terrace. It was my husbands birthday during our stay and a silver tray with champagne, candles, and strawberries arrived in our room! The service didn't stop there, we arrived home 4 days ago and I realised I had left my jacket in our room, Vitor has even kindly organised to post it back to me. When is lisbon, I really don't think there is anywhere else to stay.
