Very busy but definitely worth a visit. Buy tickets online to skip the ticket queue.
The first viewing window was mobbed, but keep walking round, the crowd thins and the same tank is visible. There was a lot of variety and good explanations.

The Oceanarium is a wonderful way to pass a few hours in Lisbon. It is very crowded but is well managed so the crowds don't interfere with your enjoyment. A real treat for young and old
Very well set out and animals clearly well looked after. Good to see otters and penguins too. I agree with other reviews that it was very busy, but they had vending machines to buy your tickets from as opposed to queueing. Great gift shop.
As it’s said to be the 2nd largest aquarium in Europe, I thought there would be more though. In and out in just over an hour.
Easy to get to on the Metro (red line, Oriente stop).
Arguably the best aquarium I have ever been to in my life, they had several fish I have never seen before at any other aquariums in the world but the main highlight was the amazing habitats across the aquarium. They have a really wide range of species and several large sharks. I would definitely recommend paying a visit, especially as if you get the tickets off the official website you can return within 120 days and can skip the queue!
Oceanario de Lisboa really amazed us! The line was a bit long, but it was worth to stay there and appreciate all the diferent species they have in the fish tank. We recommend!
We visited on a Saturday and expected it to be busy it was manic but it’s such a huge facility that it was very comfortable. This is by far the most amazing aquatic facility I’ve visited in the world. There are lots of points to view the main tank from the larger to the smaller. The gift shop also has a great selection at reasonable prices.
