“A must-visit in Lisboa”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 17, 2013

All kind of fish and under-sea creatures, otters, pinguins and turtles - very nice.
I also liked the short documentary on the "behind-the-scene" of the oceanarium, screened in a mini-cinema towards the exit of the exhibitions.
The park/seaside along the oceanarium is great for walking and relaxing, the nearby shopping mall great for a bit of spending :)

“Nice”

Not impressive. Well designed interior, perfect for families. Building is not a creative architecture. Very far from everywhere.

“Don't miss Lisbon Oceanarium of you have kids - One of the biggest in the world”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 16, 2013

If you have kids, don't miss a visit to Lisbon Oceanarium.
Built for the World Expo´98 in Lisbon, and getting more than 1 million visitors per year, it's a place you should not miss.
With more 20.000 sqm and 7.5 million liters, it's the second biggest in the world, with hundreds of species, from sharks to barracudas, rays and much more!

It's located in the northern part of Lisbon, with underground/metro connection (Red Line - Oriente).

“Here fishy fishy!!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 15, 2013

The permanent exhibit was extensive and informative... with an amazing central tank full of beautiful sharks and fish. The temporary visit was nearly magical.

If you have an off weather day, just visit the aquarium. Just minutes away by metro and in a beautiful location.

“Best Oceanarium Yet”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 15, 2013

We visited the oceanarium on our last day in Lisbon and we were not dissapointed. It had A LOT to see and everything is well kept including the animals. It's worth the entry fee, GO!
