well, it's a big pool. with big fishes. Could be better, it's more suitable for a visit with children, i would say.

“Overrrated oceanarium”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 15, 2013

For the largest in the Europe, it was certainly disappointing. We were here during Easter when all museums and churches were closed on a day with thunderstorms. The lines got huge and thanks to the guard, got us speedy entrance coz of the small kids with us. The Temporary exhibit was boring for the kids. The interiors of the aquarium are too dark except for the penguins and otters. Not a single dolphin or whale here - they have a show at the ZOO. One huge aquarium tank seen from all angles. It was very crowded everywhere and even in the cafeteria - not a place to sit. People were smoking right at the door of the aquarium which made it very difficult for us to breathe right inside. Quite a walk from the station which made it in difficult in the rain and no place to get a taxi almost all the way to the station. Maybe if it wasnt rains or it wasnt Easter, we might have enjoyed it.

“Great for adult and kids”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 15, 2013

We have visited a few aquariums before but this is the best by far. It makes the sealife centre in Birmingham look like a small fish tank in comparision. A must see when in Lisbon - especially with kids. It is not just big, but really well laid out. There is lost to see and just enough information in English on the various information boards. We were staying in Cascais and drive here. There is a multi-storey car park close by. There is a small outdoor qua park with stepping stones etc near the aquarium which was nice but there was not much else of interest in the area.

“Beautiful Creatures”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 15, 2013

The Ozeanario is always worth the Travel. Lots of different Creatures from the ocean, you wont see anywhere else. It can be quite busy, especially on a rainy day. But just combine the visit with a trip to the shopping mall nearby. Perfect plan for bad wether.
