“Lisbon Many Centuries Ago”
Reviewed August 12, 2013

ST George's Castle Is one of Lisbon most visited and most beautiful sites of the old town in one of it nicest hills. Great views to the river and to oldest part of the town. Also nice walks between narrow streets to get there, climbing from Sé or from Graça mirador.

“Stunning views and worth a brief hike”
Reviewed August 11, 2013 via mobile

Well worth the 7.50 euros each (our 6 yr old son was free) The views are incredible, the museum was ok but we don't love museums - artefacts from different ages were interesting but its small.Theres a nice wee cafe.I would visit as early as possible to avoid the coach loads though. Will definitely visit again. :)

“A must!”
Reviewed August 8, 2013

Well worth a visit, even if steep roads up to castle on a blistering hot day took it out of us. The views are 360' awesome.
We had drinks at the café, surprisingly reasonably priced, and the free museum was a bonus.

“Views!”

Great views and well restored castle. Spend a relaxing day with a book after mooching about. Lots of steep climbs from centre of Lisbon so remember to get the tram
