You can see everything fron here: Ponte 28 de Abril, planes taking off and landing to the airport of Lisboa, peacocks posing under tourists´s cameras lights... Here you can see the the most spectacular views over Lisboa, if you only can find the way tho the castle,,,, People from restaurants were shoutind "Privet, privet!" and I had to say we´re not from Russia unfortunately...

Visited the castle on a very stormy, wet and windy morning. Once we had paid our 7.50 euros to get in, we found that the whole inner keep along with the camera obscura tower was closed "for safety reasons". Fair enough, but it would be more honest to make customers aware of that before they buy their tickets. Views good, fairly interesting museum area but overall pretty average.

The best view point in whole city. The first settlement in Lisbon. A true display of the city long and fascinating history. Not only the castle, also the neighborhood that embrasses. Churches, palaces, museums and lots of good local tascas where you can join the locals for a late night dinner or to a petisco. The view over Lisbon by sunset is absolutely unforgettable.

The castle offers panoramic views of old Lisbon. You must go and see it for yourself. Take your camera and take your time. You will enjoy it.

You can walk in about 500 feet but then you have to pay to get in 7 euros per person is not worth it. Walk through the entrance walk to the right up the stone stairs to check out the view that is all you need.
