“Fabulous museum”
Reviewed October 21, 2012

This is wonderfully compact and beautifully laid-out place. It has a bit of everything, showing international and Portuguese art & history. The museum is large enough to keep you entertained for a while, but small enough not to be overwhelmed. The area also has some nice local restaurants and parks to go on an after-lunch stroll.

“A lovely visit”
Reviewed October 20, 2012

Beautiful and varied objects and styles. In every room, there are pictures of some of the objects as they were in the owner's home and I think it is a great idea to see these beautiful objects as they were in a home and not only in a museum. Great museum, not too big not too small.
Good food in the cafeteria at extremely reasonable prices.

“Nice museum with modest collection of broad range”
Reviewed October 20, 2012

A great way to look at a broad spectrum of art from a collection donated by a wealthy donor, this museum is a lovely one.

“surprisingly good”
Reviewed October 18, 2012

Wonderful location in Belem, very good exhibitions with the art of Mr. 5% as Gulbenkian was called.. In walking distance of the monastery and the Torre de Belem, it is something that is definitely worth visiting, when visiting Lisbon
