When in Portugal we prefer local food, but on this occasion it was raining hard and we needed a meal after a museum visit and before a concert - so, a Viennese cafe was what we ended up with. That sounds negative and in fact the place is very much OK. It is relaxed - the sort of place where, if they know you, you can linger all afternoon over one cup of coffee (we saw it happening). Staff eat out front with the guests when they have a break, and they certainly tuck it away, which says something about the food. No complaints at all on that score: good home cooking at a decent price. The place is covered in Austrian film and theatre posters, so the receeation of central Europe is not at all bad. And we heard a member of staff speaking German, so it's not just fake. Worth a visit if you're looking for something a bit different.
