If you are looking for some watered down margaritas and some tex mex inspired food without the hotness and only a little flavor this is the place.
Having been there several times since it opened I've noticed the changes in their food over the years, starting as a good emulation of a mexican cantina and becoming more and more closer to an european palate. Their menu changed a bit, the original ingredients gave way to substitutes and in some cases the quality and portions decreased. Nowadays it is mostly a place I go as a plan b, when something else fails nearby.
If you do go make sure to be in no hurry, the service is very slow.

we've been there a couple of times with some friends.

the place is nice inside and there is a nice terrace outside with a very nice view of the river.

it is really expensive for the food you will eat, which is not bad, but it is not impressive and of doubtful quality. the mArgeritas are awsome though. the service suck's. we wait around 15 minutes for someone to take our order, when we made a comment the waitress gave us rude response. for a 100 euros meal that is not what you are expecting.

bottom line, 4 costumers who will not come back. too expensive and not worth it. there are better places to eat mexican food in lisboa and there are other nice places to see the river.

The only good thing about this restaurant is the deco and the mariachi.

The food is horrible! As a mexican cuisine fan i never had such a bad experience.

The "mexican" salsa is chopped tomato with some coriander and that's it!
The strawberry Margaritas didn't had a pinch of alcohol but the price wasn't of strawberry juice for sure.
The pork fajitas were bland and reheated. Some bits of pork without any kind of mexican flavour. The bean pure was just about that. Beans in pure without any kind of flavour.
The guacamole seemed it had flour on it. I make guamacole at home and that one is just miles away.

On top of it all its very expensive!

The entrée, a tiny bowl of nacho chips and "salsa" (a chopped tomato with a sprinkle of coriander) was disappointing, but we remained hopeful for the main courses.

The chicken fajitas were tragic. A tiny bowl of a few strips of pathetic looking chicken and peppers. No onion. No spices. No flavour. The fajitas were accompanied by a heap of rice, some black beans that had been shoved in the food processor and a lazy attempt at guacamole. The enchilladas were badly cooked and bland.

The most depressing thing here is that the restaurant is full. We're amazed that so many people are happy to pay for such rubbish.

The price-quality relationship is weak.

The quality of the food is average and drinks are quite good. The dessert i dind't taste, because as the service was slow, there was no time at all.

I will not return in the near future.
