Not only wine collections are excellent, tapas are excellent too. If you order one, which costs around 5 Euro and it really is big. The taste is awesome and the location is very convenient too. There are always many people willing to dine, so that I recommend to wait for a while.

The wine bar staff, with their extremely arrogant attitude helps you to hate wine and wine tasting. Today, they made me feel really uncomfortable when I was there. The look, questions, attitude. In these places people are supposed to help you, not demoralize or test your wine knowledge and try to find out contradictions on your taste of wine. BRAVO! Well done, now I have Bar and bar staff I really dislike.

Dear Sir,

We're sorry to hear your experience was not so positive. We make our very best to offer the best possible experience and share our passion for great wines and food. Please don't be offended if we asked you what kind of wines you like or how much you want to spend, this is to ensure we serve the wines that best suits your preferences and within the price range you asked. We believe this is common sense and as you can read from the other reviews in TA, our service is very much appreciated.
We work in the wine business for nearly 14 years, have won several prizes and have been recomended in national and international wine magazines.

We hope you can come back to Lisbon and visit us again,
Yours truly,
Nuno Santos & Daniel Afonso

I can not recall the owner's name but he is from Brazil I think. Anyway, this was a highlight to our 24 hours in Lisbon. He knows his wine...

Even if you are not a wine aficionado, the servers will patiently explain and allow you to taste a few different wines to find one you enjoy. The cheese plate, and olives were an ideal light lunch with the wine. Great way to relax after the climb to the castle.

Truly recommended for those who know a bit about wine and like to enjoy it. The people who run this place know what to do to make your visit enjoyable. They can talk about wine, they can suggest what and how to drink, and they will spoil you if you know why you come to this place. We were offered several wines to try before we actually decided what we want. Make sure to taste cheese and ham to fully enjoy your visit there. You may also want to make a reservation, as the bar is small and they will not let you in if no seating places are available.
