“Free museum”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 21, 2013

A bit far from the other museums in Belem, but it's worth a visit as it is for free and you can learn how an energy plant worked.
There is also a temporary modern art exhibition, which is free as well, and very nice to see.
You have only to pay 1 euro if you have a bag, to be kept in the lockers.

“great”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 24, 2013

This FREE museum is great with interactive displays and lots of interesting information. It is in Belem on the river and well worth a visit. It has clean toilets and a good cloak room with cheap drinks and food in the vending machine.

“Very good and creative museum”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 22, 2013 via mobile

I thought it would be a boring museum, but was a surprising one. The visit is free and there is a guide entering every hour. They are very captive and patient. There is a hystorical part and a interactive one...teaching the danger and the fun brought by eletricity. One of the best museuns in lisbon. Much better than some expensive palaces.

“Best technical museum i have visited so far”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 12, 2013

Exibit starts with process explanation and it takes you throug all the steps and through (literally) all machines and processes. You enter owens, see animations, explanations, technical and historical data! At the end you have a playground with experiments!
I expected much, but was surprised and overwhelmed nevertheless.
