“Great Hotel!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 29, 2013

While I didn't love Lisbon, I did love this hotel. Very, very comfortable beds and a sleek modern design. The staff is so friendly and eager to help. It is close to the Bairro Alto and has a very nice breakfast buffet in the mornings. The gym is a bit small, so if you are planning on doing a big workout, you're limited to one stationary bike and one elliptical machine. Didn't try the spa, but it looked very inviting. Blackout curtains mean you could sleep in all day, so set your alarm so you don't miss breakfast!

This hotel is located up hill in a quiet part of Lisbon but 10 min walking from the metro and 25 min walking to the bar area. It's a nice hotel, new inside with wide rooms. The rooms are a little bit dark but overall nice and clean with big tv screen and iPod column speaker. Shame the wifi is annoying as you need to re-enter the password every time you use it!
Nice breakfast and the staff are friendly.
The pool is very nice and quiet, so relaxing!!
Good price for what you get.

Hotel had the best pillows I've ever slept on and an excellent breakfast. Hotel is about a 15 minute walk from the city centre and near a metro station but is on a steep hill which might not suit everyone. Staff were friendly and pleasant, especially the bar staff and breakfast staff. This hotel has a lovely terrace bar with great views of the city and the castle and drinks were inexpensive. After a long day walking around Lisbon and sightseeing it was nice to use the hotels plunge pool, sauna and steam room. The only issue I had with the hotel was that there was a protest billboard outside the hotel by a construction company saying the hotel had not paid them! I would recommend this hotel, it is modern, stylish and in a good location.

This hotel is quite a gem and it was very nicely priced: $130 USD per night for two nights in a standard double. The room itself was modern and sizeable, with a very large shower and separate toilet and bidet rooms. The also have parking below the hotel that we needed for our rental. We had a few issues with that rental (fender bender in front of the hotel) and the staff was incredibly helpful and very patiently so with those unpleasant issues. Wonderful service all around including the breakfast, which was massive and delicious! It is a little bit of a walk to the main tourist attractions (10 minutes or so) and it is on top of a very steep hill but we loved its quiet and upscale neighborhood.

This hotel looks fairly fancy and the staff are friendly. Highlights are the spa and full length windows. Breakfast is good too. HOWEVER, do not expect honest or accurate advice on tours. The AC is not dependable. They do not have an appreciation for clients using a cane. Do not depend on their directions, ever. (Imagine having only 4 days and losing one to their bad directions and advice!) Towels were ragged and the dryer broken. Sink and bathroom design looks nice, but not very functional. For mature visitors, it is not a particularly walking friendly hotel. With so many beautiful hotels in Lisbon, keep searching. This has its strengths, but until they improve their management it's not the best choice.

Room Tip: Look for another hotel.

we stayed 4 nights, the location is very close to Avenida Liberdade (3 min)and 10 minPraca Rossio- city center) in a quiet street with a great view from the roof garden.
Try the room 503 (superior, worth's the extra cost), the breakfast (very good quality) is served indoors but there is a small garden where you can smoke as well.
They provide free wifi for 24 hrs upon expiration you have to renew.

Room Tip: superior rooms, worth the extra cost, top floors
