On a spur of the moment decision we went on the Introduction to Lisbon walking tour on our first morning - just turning up at the meeting point. It turned out to be a good decision. Martha, our charming guide, was knowledgeable about the history and customs of the city. As result we had a great foundation for our stay. We were introduced to monuments and vistas, trams rides and local delicacies. We would thoroughly recommend this walking tour.

Walking Gourmet tour.
More a taste of Portugal than gourmet, but that is ok. For the price you do get a lot, no question about that.Small glass of beer, portwine, liquer, red wine (two glasses or more if you like), and enough food for us to last the evening. So pricewice this is more that expected.
Our three star is based more of the quality, most people have tasted portwine before, and we would rather had a small glass of good port than a generous glas of rather poor quality port wine. We were also a bit disapointed that much of the tours were in shops, getting samles, even visted a supermarked Food court "to se what food were available in Portugal" Not really what we had in mind. Some places we visited, had absolutely no room for our group of 11 and made us feel unwelcomed and in their way.
Again: the price is low and for the price it was well worth it,no doubt about that, but we would have prefered a higher price and a bit more upscaled tour.

The trip was a lot of fun! We got to see a lot of sights and learn a lot of things in only eight short hours! We got to eat at a very good local restaurant! Our guide Andres spoke 5 languages so it is a very good tour for many people!

This tour was very good, our tour guide André was very informative and kept us interested. He knew a lot about the palace and the different places that we visited. It was amazing how many different languages he could speak and he did very well at translating in English then in Spanish for some of the other people on our tour. It was a very fun day and he also requested a restaurant for us to go to with some traditional portuguese food which was interesting and good. All in all it was a great tour and I would definitely recommend it to anyone travelling to Lisbon.

we went for a 4hour walk, but when ready we had spent 6 hours with this fantastic guide. We had a small portion of history and the main goal was to ealk through streets we wouldn't have found on our own. The walk includes tasting of cheese, pastery, shellfish, port, green wine and some other things. And the tastings take place in small genuine nonturistic places. We are so satisfied, that we are joining a new walk today.
