“Very Nice”
Reviewed April 26, 2014 via mobile

Nice little place with friendly staff and a laydback atmosphere, good food and good wine service. Make sure to book the table in advance, we didn t and had to go for a walk until the first lunch guests left and we got one, it s fine though cause Belém has a lot to see, next time we will book just to make sure, besides from that it was a great experience overall!

“Best of Our Trip”
Reviewed April 24, 2014

This was head and shoulders the best restaurant of our four day trip to Lisbon.Quality of food, wine & detailed knowledge of both by the professional and friendly staff/owners.The amuse bouche was stunning. Opens at 13:00. Get to Belem around 9:00.Go to Casa Pasteis de Belem for breakfast (number 4 on Tripadvisor) then head to this enoteca for lunch (number 8 on Tripadvisor). A good half day out.Taxi is about Euro 10. Tram obviously cheaper.
Why only 4/5 ? Well the unisex toilet is 'interesting'. If you go,you'll see what I mean.

“Very pleasant and cozy restaurant”
Reviewed April 18, 2014 via mobile

Great food and super friendly staff and service! Hidden in a quiet alley behind the crowded main street, a nice surprise indeed! Love every detail, the food, setting, restroom, magazines, and of course the staff. :)

“Elegant three-course lunch”
Reviewed April 7, 2014

This is a very nice place on one of the Belem alleys. It is a very elegant place with somewhat stiff waiters. But the three-course lunch menu was excellent and the wine selection more than adequate for two amateurs. Strongly recommended.

“Food and wine pairing par excellence!”
Reviewed April 6, 2014 via mobile

As we were too late for lunch and too early for dinner it was lucky for us that the restaurant was open all day. Nelson knows his wines! We talked about food pairing and wine choices and drank a fabulous Vinho Verde with our Prawns, Bisque, Octopus and Duck Rice. The presentation of the food matched it's quality and the wine complemented everything. With the Brownie and Strawberry Soup we drank a 10year old Port - heaven.
