Description: Praise there is aplenty for Come Prima, one of Lisbons best-loved traditional Italian restaurants. Being a bit tucked away on Rua Olival, an easy walk from the romantic Tapada das Necessidades gardens, is part of the restaurants considerable charm. A reassuringly cosy atmosphere, lovely lighting, wooden tables and chairs and friendly staff - Come Prima hits all the right notes. Expect wonderfully simple Italian classics - tomato soup to tiramisu - freshly prepared with skill and care. Some diners have said the pasta and pizza are the best theyve ever had. Whats certain is Come Prima hand-make their pasta fresh, and bake their pizzas to perfection in a wood-fired oven. Nice wine list, too. Ask for a table upstairs where its cosiest.

Top class in all aspects. The people who run this restaurant deserve a great compliment for the hospitality. Local people visit this restaurant. Please make a reservation because a lot of people know the quality of the food already. We were there with a group of 34 atletes and every minute was a pleasure

We had dinner here with a group of thirty people here and were accomodated on the top floor. We had a great time. Interior is simple but cosy, staff is friendly and the food (and wine) was very tasty. As the main course I had prawn risotto and it was the best risotto I had in some time.
Everybody in our group was very happy with this restaurant. I would certainly go here again whenever I'm back in Lisbon.

Delightful little Italian restaurant with a traditional wood fired pizza oven.

My friend and I thoroughly enjoyed every bit of food that came our way. The cover was totally vegetarian (freshly baked bread with oils and bruschetta) and the nicest I have had in Lisbon. There was very reasonably priced local red wine (€9.95) recommended by the waitress. The menu was provided in English. We ate the salmon carpaccio and tomato soup to start, the thin and crispy margarita and vegetarian pizzas for mains (both with requests to slightly change the toppings listed on the menu -requests that were met and not charged extra for) and the limoncello tartufo and chocolate mousse to finish. The total bill came to just under €55, which we considered excellent value for money. This was topped off with a healthy sized glass of port on the house.

Highly recommended.

We ate here on our first night in lisbon & had a great meal & very impressed with the service. We came back for our last night & were not disappointed. The food was reasonably priced and very good. the service friendly and engaging. Although its well off the beaten track and hard to find (get a sign guys?) it's thoroughly recommended.

My wife and I ate here on our last night in Lisbon. After one week in Portugal we had been spoiled by good food. That being said, this restaurant knocked it out of the park. We started with their bruschetta which was amazing and their rolls were fresh and yummy.

We started with stiffed mushrooms which were plentiful and delicious. The waiter came over and stole the salt before i ruined them. He said there was no need to add salt and he was right. fantastic.

My wife ordered margarita simplicity pizza and it was amazing. I ordered salmon and spinach lasagna and it was delicious. Very hot, very flavorful and plenty of color.

We finished with their lemon sorbet and limoncello dessert and we could have eaten a bowlful. Wow.

The wit staff were funny, engaging and prompt. Overall the experience was a 10 in our book. Go here if you are near Belem in Lisbon.
