Pizzas were good and the pasta looked tasty enough. The recommended drink by the waiter was a raspberry sangria that was really amazing. Unfortunately my meal suffered a bit on the desert, the lemon tart did not look home made at all. My friend had the flan and commented it was great.

Found via TA and right next to hotel, it was a very nice attractive setting with very good food. we had a taste for Italian, it happened to be very close but was well worth visiting. Compared to North America where everything is drowned in red sauce, the Lasagne Bolognese stood out as very tasty, a large portion and not a red mess of sauce. Nice variety on wines as well. We ate at opening as the flight in a.m. was early but it was nearly filled when we left, plan unless you eat early, very popular and deservedly so.

Thank redanman

The decoration is a little caotic, the table towels are the standard ones that are used in italian restaurants (white with red stripes crossed) but it has about 8-12 different colors on the walls and they don't match so well.

About the food, we only ordered pizzas, they are very good, thin and crunchy. We ate the Modena (spicy salame) and four cheese. The Modena is very tasty and quite spicy but the four cheese one was not the best I have eaten.

It's not a cheap restaurant but overall you eat well for the price you pay.

We ate here because it was right next to our hotel and I am sure glad we did!!! The food and service were outstanding! We had a wonderful meal, delicious bottle of wine and it was very reasonably priced. You can tell they pride themselves on their service and are very attentive. Being Americans we asked to add a gratuity at the end and chose to add 20% because we felt they deserved it. I was told by the server that they did not have that custom in Portugal and he seemed to want to be sure we knew we were not expected to do that. When we insisted that we really wanted to, he thanked us for our generosity and was very gracious. (I think American servers could really learn from that!!) I would highly recommend this place and am really glad we found it.
