It's a difficult decision to give this hotel "only" four stars rather than five. My experience was five-star, but this is because we received an upgrade to a suite, which was amazing: living room with separate powder room, huge bed; and beautifully laid out bathroom with separate shower and cool (though not so practical) circular tub, another toilet, and dual vanities. With the room I had booked this would have been more of a four-star stay, and it's probably not reasonable to assume that you'd always get upgraded.
The hotel is about a 10-minute walk to the center of the city, and it's very close to the main shopping street. There are certainly hotels more conveniently situated for tourists, though I didn't mind the short walk (as long as the weather is good).
The service at the hotel was friendly and helpful. Any question or request for the staff was met with a caring attitude. As an example, I called in advance to ask how much a taxi should cost from the airport. I was told no more than €15, and if we were asked for more than that, to have someone from the hotel talk to the driver. When our cab driver tried to cheat us (which is apparently very common in Lisbon), someone from the hotel quickly came out and talked to the driver, and we were charged the correct amount.
I found breakfast at the hotel somewhat disappointing. Not a great selection, and the coffee was bad. Also as opposed to the hotel staff, the staff in the restaurant were not very friendly or competent, e.g. they were very slow in wiping and placing new settings on tables after guests left.
The stay at Inspira was fantastic, but I'd probably explore other options unless it was guaranteed there'd be a suite upgrade.
