We had dinner with family at the restaurant, despite being told that we were late we had a great dinner. The staff warmed up when we started speaking Portuguese with them. The "menu degustation" was excellent, the presentation of the food was innovative (miniature clothes line for the dry cod), tastes were delicate and nicely matched with interesting Portuguese wine pairing. The restaurant is small and very clean, the lightning makes the ambiance warm and cozy. One of the wine producer who was there joined us at the end of our dinner- we had great conversations over fantastic wines which made the evening a fun and very memorable one. This was the best dinner we have had during our recent two week stay in Portugal.
